Shannon Beador reacted to host Joel Kim Booster’s claim that she was a “pathetic drunk” who allegedly treated people terribly during a wrap party and while filming for the Real Housewives spinoff Love Hotel. The Real Housewives of Orange County star said that “hours” before the party, the comedian told Shannon he was “so happy” for her. Plus, Gretchen Rossi reacted to the drama.

On Instagram, a fan claimed Joel slammed Shannon at a live show, calling her daughters “just as bad” as her. On his own Instagram Stories, Joel suggested that he feels bad for Shannon’s ex John Janssen, who’s suing her for $75,000 (and whose fiancée seemingly threatened to reveal videos of Shannon from the night of her recent DUI). Joel also said he hopes Shannon “suffers.”

During her Shannon & Vicki Live! show, Shannon shared her reaction to Joel’s posts.

“I really don’t know what it’s about,” said Shannon in a video taken by someone in the audience and shared by Mr. Mention It All via @cici.loves.you on Instagram. “Because an hour earlier that night, before the wrap party, he had tears in his eyes and he said, ‘I’m so happy for you.'”

She then addressed the shocking claims.

“He trashed my daughters. He said that he hopes that I suffer,” she explained. “He said that he feels sorry for John Janssen. He says that I’m nothing but a pathetic drunk … It’s really gonna look silly for him because he had nothing but love for me the entire show.”

Gretchen, who was on stage for Shannon’s show, slammed Joel’s actions as “so unprofessional.”

“What I’m sad about is that I did actually some kind things on the show,” Shannon added. “And people said I was kind, so it’s hard for me to walk away from an experience that I really enjoyed … to have that damper on it. But we’ll see what happens … I don’t know where it came from.”

Love Hotel is a new dating show that will eventually stream on Peacock. The Real Housewives of Orange County currently airs Thursday nights on Bravo.
