‘She Couldn’t Handle It Anymore’: Shep Rose Reveals Explosive Reason Behind Break with Sienna Evans

Shortly after the Caribbean getaway, Shep invited Sienna and her friend to stay at his Linville home while his parents were traveling in Spain. But just a day before Sienna was expected to land in the U.S., she allegedly informed Shep she hadn't purchased a plane ticket.

“She was like, ‘Hey, I’ve been really busy. Will you just get my flights?’ … I said yeah, OK, and I bottled it up,” Shep recalled. “And then after the weekend, I said something to her… I said, ‘I really need to get this off my chest… I just don’t appreciate the way that was handled. I made a lot of plans and I took care of everything... Just meet me somewhere in the middle or near the bell curve somewhere, because I’m not a desperate man who’s flying girls around.'”

Shep said Sienna became “indignant” and told him, “Where I come from, the man takes care of everything.”

The Southern Charm-er said he pushed back on the comment and questioned if Sienna would repeat that sentiment to the young girls she mentors. 

“That’s a bad thing to think and to practice, frankly,” he continued. “So anyhow, I was like, maybe we should take a step back, and she was like, ‘Yeah, OK.’”

Southern Charm viewers watched Shep and Sienna end their relationship for good on Season 10, Episode 13. 

"I thought it was maybe more than it was, but, gosh it felt different. I don’t know," Shep said on the Southern Charm After Show. "Maybe it was the things we said to each other. Maybe we weren’t serious. But I was serious.”

Shep claimed he received a text from Sienna about a month later and agreed to give the relationship another shot. 

“She was like, ‘I don’t feel this strongly about people very often, and I think we can make this work,’” he recalled. “And I was like, oh my god… that’s so sweet because I felt the same way.”

Although Shep was clearly enthralled by the former Miss Bahamas, the relationship was over by the end of 2024. The South Carolina native reassured fans they would get more details about the split throughout Season 10.

“She was a very interesting girl,” Shep said about Sienna. “I really liked talking to her and spending time with her, and we had a lot of very lovely, tender moments, and it was not for nothing. I mean, don’t believe everything you see on TV.”
