“She Humbled Me Without Saying a Word”: Love Is Blind’s Alexa Says Becoming a Mom Shattered Her Ego and Taught Her What Real Strength Looks Like

Alexa Lemieux is settling into parenthood — even if there are a few humbling moments.

The new mom, who met and married husband Brennon Lemieux on season 3 of Netflix's Love Is Blind, spoke to PEOPLE at Netflix's Summer Break event at the Santa Monica Pier on Thursday, July 17, and shared how she and Brennon have been enjoying being parents.

Alexa and Brennon welcomed their daughter Vienna Ziva last July, and the two share that they love their little one so much, they're thinking about adding a second.

"It's going so well. We are so blessed with our beautiful, beautiful baby," Alexa tells PEOPLE. "She is gonna be 1 in two weeks, so trying to get him to give me another one, but..."

"I'm the dad that constantly, I didn't think I would be. I constantly show everybody my phone just to show pictures of my daughter," Brennon sweetly says.

Although they've loved spending time with and getting to know their daughter, Alexa and Brennon admit that some moments are easier than others.

"She's teething right now and her sleep schedule is way off, and I'm humbled with the lack of sleep and how much psychological torture an almost 1-year-old can do to you," jokes Alexa.

"So when she's woken up 3 times in the night and you're exhausted, you're tired and you wake up and you look at your wife in the bed and she goes, 'Wahh,' " Brennon jokingly says. "And then you look at the [baby] monitor and you see your daughter going 'Wahhh!'"

"Yeah, I am an adult who has a tantrum sometimes at 4 a.m. when I'm so exhausted," Alexa responds. "At least my nipples don't hurt anymore, so I have that going for me."

Last August, the happy couple announced they'd welcomed their baby together, sharing the news on Instagram. In the sweet photo, Alexa and Brennon smiled together on a bed, with the newly minted mom cuddling their baby girl.

"Our perfect daughter, Vienna Ziva Lemieux, born July 31, 2024. She has mommy's hair and daddy's dimples and we couldn't be more in love 🩷," the couple wrote in their caption.

That May, the couple shared with PEOPLE exclusively that they were welcoming a baby girl together. In a picture at a piano, Alexa wore a pink, sheer dress that opened at her stomach, signifying that the couple was expecting a girl. Brennon stood beside his wife, placing a hand on the piano and smiling for the camera.
