Filming for season 11 of “Southern Charm” is officially underway, and the cast list is already stirring up buzz. While the Charleston-based Bravo series is known for dramatic friendships, scandalous breakups, and unforgettable parties, the real drama right now is happening off-camera — and it involves who’s in, who’s out, and who’s still up in the air. A mix of confirmed exits and surprise appearances at Madison LeCroy’s baby shower is helping fans piece together the new season’s evolving lineup.
Bravo fans already knew Leva Bonaparte and Taylor Ann Green wouldn’t return for Season 11. Bonaparte, 46, announced in March that she was stepping away from the show after multiple seasons and would instead focus on her growing restaurant empire and Bravo spinoff, “Southern Hospitality.” Green, 29, also confirmed her exit, following a tough couple of seasons marked by her split from Shep Rose and complicated entanglements with his bestie, Austen Kroll.
What came as more of a surprise were the behind-the-scenes departures of Jarrett “JT” Thomas and Ryan Albert. According to Bravo and Cocktails, neither was asked back for Season 11. “JT, Leva, Ryan, and Taylor weren’t asked back. I know the girls announced but JT and Ryan are out too,” an insider revealed. Neither man appeared at the first official filming event of the season: Madison’s baby shower.
Thomas’ absence follows a rocky run on the show, where he clashed with Kroll, questioned cast loyalty, and frequently found himself on the receiving end of fan criticism. He briefly stepped away before the season 10 premiere but later returned for interviews and the reunion. As LeCroy put it in a December interview with Us Weekly, “He was no longer wanted in the group. I think it became more of this, like, he caught the house on fire and then stepped away when everyone had a reaction — and not a good one.”
Albert’s absence was also noticeable at the reunion, often a red flag for departing cast members. While he made waves as a late addition to the show, his future with Bravo now appears over.
Despite the exits, many familiar faces are returning — and they were all seen celebrating LeCroy’s baby shower, which doubled as the first major event filmed for Season 11. The pink-themed party took place at Patricia Altschul’s Charleston mansion, with guests including Rose, Kroll, Venita Aspen, Rodrigo Reyes, Molly O’Connell, and Salley Carson, according to images shared by Altschul. Producer Whitney Sudler-Smith and former “Summer House” star Kory Keefer were also present, raising speculation about potential crossovers.
Keefer’s appearance especially surprised fans. While he’s best known from “Winter House” and his friendship with Craig Conover, who was also at the shower, his appearance seemed to confirm his return as well.
Adding to the intrigue, Carson posted a TikTok getting ready for the event with O’Connell and Reyes, hinting at strong alliances heading into the new season.
Though Bonaparte did attend the baby shower and posed for group photos, sources maintain she is not returning as a cast member. Also spotted at the event was season 7 alum Madison Simon, though her presence is expected to be more of a guest appearance than a full comeback.
No premiere date has been announced for season 11 of “Southern Charm.”
