Southern Charm Shakes Things Up For Season 11 With JT Thomas And Ryan Albert Cut Allegedly From Cast

Those in attendance included OG's like Shep Rose and Austen Kroll. Additionally, photos showed Venita Aspen, Salley Carson, Rodrigo Reyes, Molly O'Connell, and Whitney Sudler-Smith celebrating as well. Leva Bonaparte, who announced her exit after the show wrapped up Season 10, was also present to celebrate Madison's upcoming arrival.

That said, a few familiar faces were noticeably absent — including Taylor Ann Green, who also announced she was leaving the show. Fans also pointed out that Jarett "JT" Thomas, who found himself in the middle of quite a bit of drama last season, also appeared to be missing. Rumor has it that he isn't returning for the new season.

Southern Charm's Jarrett "JT" Thomas Is Reportedly Not Coming Back For Season 11

The eleventh season of Southern Charm is reportedly officially in the works, and it's already been rumored that main cast members Jarrett "JT" Thomas and Ryan Albert will not be a part of it. According to Bravo and Cocktails, both stars were not asked to return.

Unlike the unexpected news about JT and Ryan, both Leva Bonaparte and Taylor Ann Green announced their departures in separate social media statements after Season 10 wrapped up filming.

The news that JT would not return is bound to stir up some mixed reactions. JT, who initially joined in Season 9, clashed with Austen Kroll over how he treats women, stirred the pot with gossip about several members of the cast, and surprised everyone by popping up with a girlfriend on Instagram despite allegedly dating Venita Aspen. And let’s not forget the moment that lingered all Season 10: he allegedly called Miss Patricia the b-word, which definitely didn’t sit well with anyone.

JT also caused a little bit of a stir when he announced his resignation from the show in November 2024, which was before the premiere of Season 10. JT shared that he would not be seen in later episodes of the show, but he ended up backtracking on his resignation. He starred in the entire season and appeared at the Season 10 reunion.

“I wanted to apologize because I made a public resignation from a really special opportunity and I let down, you know, a lot of people work really hard ... and so, I want to apologize. It was bad form to publicly resign like that. I will be at the reunion," JT shared in a YouTube video.

Bravo and Cocktails also announced that Ryan Albert was also not asked to come back for Season 11. Ryan made his debut as a main cast member in Season 10, so it's quite shocking to see him go. However, it's unclear whether he might be downgraded to a friend or guest for Season 11, as he was pictured attending Madison LeCroy's baby shower.

Ryan was relatively quiet for most of Season 10, but viewers did see him come for JT during a group after-party that was held at his event space. JT tried to insert himself in the drama between Salley Carson and Taylor Ann Green as they feuded all season because of their shared romantic history. According to Entertainment Now, in a since-deleted Instagram post, Ryan elaborated on what made him speak out against JT.

Later in the season—specifically Episode 14—fans watched as Ryan called Venita to share that his barber allegedly overheard JT making racist and shocking remarks about her. Venita, who had grown close to JT by then, found the accusation hard to believe. JT later denied the claims, calling the barber himself to clear the air and set the record straight.

Another clear indicator that Ryan might not come back was that he was a no-show at the Season 10 reunion.

Taylor Ann Green And Leva Bonaparte Announced Their Exits Following Season 10's Conclusion

Fans are already well aware that both Leva and Taylor won't be back as main cast members for Season 11. Both women shared the news in separate Instagram posts just one month apart.

Back in March, Leva posted photos with the Season 10 cast and announced she was leaving the show “on great terms.” She also shared that she was stepping away to focus on her family and new business ventures.

Additionally, Leva shared that although her life may not be dramatic enough to carry on filming, fans can still watch her "in full force" on the Southern Charm spinoff, Southern Hospitality, which has been renewed for a fourth season. She also hinted that she could make sporadic appearances in the eleventh season.

As for Taylor, she announced to her fans on Instagram that it was a "bittersweet" decision to leave the show after five seasons in April.

"These past 5 years with NBC and Bravo have been some of the most crazy but exciting times of my life. I will forever be thankful to the network, production teams, bravo family and all the fans for ultimately cheering me on to where I am today. A wild rollercoaster but an incredible one to say the least," she shared.

Taylor found herself in a heap of drama back in Season 9 when she found herself in an entanglement with Austen, with whom her former friend, Olivia Flowers, once dated. In Season 10, Taylor was clearly trying to get back in the good graces of the women in the group. At the same time, she kept most of her new relationship with boyfriend Gaston Rojas off-camera, offering only limited glimpses into her life.

There is no word yet on when Southern Charm Season 11 will air.
