Southern Charm Shep Rose Admitted Taylor Pressured Him Into Marriage

Southern Charm Season 10 sees both exes Taylor Ann Green and Shep Rose in new relationships. The two dated for two years before breaking up in the summer of 2022. Taylor is now dating co-star, Salley Carson's ex, Gaston Rojas, while Shep's short-lived relationship with Miss Bahamas, Sienna Evans, will play out on the show, although he's since announced that the two are no longer an item.

As the season plays out, viewers noticed that Taylor has kept a distance from Shep for the sake of respecting her new romance. However, Shep always seems to find this way into her life, and that's not only because the two have to work together on reality TV.

While Taylor seems to be very much over her ex, Shep continues to discuss their time together.

Taylor Made A Comment About Shep In The Bedroom That Didn't Add Up To Shep Since She Wanted Him To Propose

As Season 10 showed, Taylor Ann Green is very much over her relationship with Shep Rose. Shep was unfaithful to Taylor and the two split after two years of dating. A source for People shared at the time of their break-up, "Shep has a real issue with monogamy and refused to commit to Taylor, telling her that he doesn't want to be with just one person and change his lifestyle."

The source added, "She's incredibly hurt, but she knows that she deserves a guy who will fight for her, not one who is so selfish. He'll regret this."

After the two parted ways, Taylor found love again with Gaston Rojas. They began dating in October 2023, and he seems to be that "guy who will fight for her." Taylor has kept much of their romance out of the public eye.

But, unlike Taylor, who has clearly moved on from Shep, he has continued to talk about their 2-year relationship. In a December 2024 guest appearance on Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge's Two T's In A Pod podcast, Shep spoke about Taylor, revealing that she had wanted him to propose to her. However, before that, Teddi brought up a nasty dig Taylor shared about her ex's sex life back in Season 9.

During the episode, Tamra suggests that Teddi and Shep, who went to school together, should date. Teddi then states, "After hearing how Shep is in bed, I'm good."

Not taking it to heart, Shep called Taylor's comment, "tacky as hell" and added, "I would never comment on anybody in bed on national television."

But, then he went on to state that Taylor's comment on his bedroom manners did not add up since she wanted to marry him. "That’s ridiculous. I mean she wanted me to ask her to marry her," he told the two hosts.

Still, when asked by Teddi if he was still in love with Taylor, Shep took a long pause and stated, "No, I just care about her deeply." He added, "I want all the best for her. I want all these good things to happen for her."

Taylor Called Shep "Delusional" For His Comments

In Season 10, Episode 2, Shep made a bold claim about his ex's family still wishing that she was still with him. In a confessional, the reality star stated, "I know that her mom and dad wish that she was still with me and her grandfather and her grandmother and her whole family."

After the confessional aired, Taylor took to social media to slam Shep and his bizarre comment.

She called him "delusional" in an Instagram Story, and wrote:

"Let me shout from the mountain tops that both my parents, my grandparents, and yes, even my recently late grandfather all couldn’t be happier that I’ve moved on and am in a much better, happier, and healthier relationship."

When speaking to both Teddi and Tamra on their podcast, Shep revealed that he never read what Taylor wrote on social media following his outlandish comment. But, he knows now that her family does not want them together. However, he did state that he was still in contact with Taylor's family.

Shep also acknowledged that he had hurt Taylor very deeply, including being unfaithful to her throughout their relationship.

"I definitely put her through some bull****. I'm not gonna deny that. When I look back these days, I'm like, I can't believe that time I did this. There's just like 100 little things that were just uncool and bad. Just took it for granted, her absolute love and affection for me."

Unfortunately, Shep is not friends with Taylor, although he wants to be. "That’s not my choice," the reality star said on the podcast.

Unfortunately, Shep is no longer dating Sienna, aka Miss Bahamas. When the two were first introduced in Season 10, Shep admitted to being "enthralled" by her. In a confessional, he shared, "I just think she's so sexy. There's nobody else that looks like her, and I think the whole country of the Bahamas would agree, since she is Miss Bahamas."

Shep also made a slight dig at Taylor when he also stated, "She's a lot of things Taylor wasn't."

Sienna, who was crowned Miss Bahamas in 2021, made an appearance in Season 10, Episode 3, where she and Shep attended Rodrigo Reyes' Doggy Parton birthday. When Taylor meets the model for the first time, she asks her if she's heard good things, to which Sienna savagely replies, "Mostly."

In November, during Bravo Fan Fest, Shep admitted that he was single. Without giving too much away, he detailed that long-distance may have played a factor in their split. Fans will get to see how Shep and Sienna broke things off on the newest season.
