Southern Charm alum, Thomas Ravenel has gone on an alleged “drunken” tirade against the cast of the hit Bravo series. He has battled against his former co-star and the mother of two of his children, Kathryn Dennis. More so, he has no shame in the way he slams her regularly. Now, the former South Carolina Gubernatorial candidate has become even more unhinged and is lashing out at two unexpected suspects. Keep reading for what he said.
Thomas Ravenel Goes On ‘Drunken’ Tirade Against Cast
For years, Thomas Ravenel has unleashed fury when it comes to Kathryn Dennis, the mother of two of his kids. She was very young when they met and it seemed she liked the prestige that came along with him and his family. Thomas did not care that she was only 21 whereas he was 50. She had also had a few dalliances and flirtations with some of the other male cast members but her sights were set firmly on Thomas. He was not a saint, had been in some trouble, and would continue to mess up. As for Kathryn, she struggled with some substance issues so Thomas gained custody of their kids.
He exited Southern Charm after Season 5 but went on to slam Kathryn any chance he got all over social media. It was tacky and it was tasteless, especially for someone who wanted to be in politics. Recently, he announced that he was running for Governor of South Carolina but withdrew the bid after four days. Thomas claimed his focus was on his three young children. However, shortly thereafter he posted a scathing tweet about SC creator, Whitney Sudler-Smith and his mother, Patricia Altschul.
This rampage was shared on a Reddit thread and it is completely unhinged. Whitney created the show and yes, it was the cast that helped make it what it was and is. However, to slam Miss Patricia in such a way is atrocious. Immediately, followers felt Thomas Ravenel was completely smashed when he posted this:
- Saturday day drinking
- His vitriol when he’s drunk makes that chick from “The Exorcist” look chill AF. Decades of alcoholism & cocaine abuse have rendered quite the short fuse, jfc
Is He Wrong?
Despite the awful things that Thomas Ravenel said, some followers believed his statements regarding Whitney Sudler-Smith. They did believe that he had been with many of the Southern Charm girls. More so, they felt he was no better than Thomas as he was in his latter fifties and was still flirting with young girls. As for Patricia Altschul, not everyone cared for her but they really despised how Thomas disrespected her:
- I’m no Pat fan but who the hell calls an 80 yo woman a wh*re?
- Ugh I don’t like Patricia in the slightest but damn he and his misogyny can take a seat.
One question was how he could have custody of his kids if he acts like this constantly. He is always tweeting horrid things and then deleting them when he gets caught:
- So if he is drunk, which seems like the only time he tweets like this, who has the kids??? I’m not saying Kathryn is mother Teresa but I do believe she is the less of two evils
