Stassi Schroeder Says She Almost Came Back to VPR Prior to ‘Scandoval’

Stassi Schroeder taking on Tom Sandoval during season 10? Just imagine.

The former Vanderpump Rules star appeared on the October 1^st episode of Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast and talked about her comeback that *almost* was.

“It’s a long story,” the reality star begins.

“It was right after I had announced my second book, Off With My Head. I was asked by a producer to come back, and I had to really think about it.”

After “arguments” and back and forth, Stassi had every intention of walking into the meeting and telling the producer she decided to pass on returning

Seeing the success that her second book received empowered her to continue working for herself.

“I think I could keep going and doing it on my terms,” the New York Times Best Selling Author recalled.

However, Stassi never got the chance to have the “power moment” and the opportunity to “say no”.

As fate would have it, the producer didn’t actually have permission to offer Stassi a contract.

“It was a really messed up situation,” she says.

Timing is Everything

They say everything happens for a reason!

Not coming back to Vanderpump Rules allowed her to continue building her brand on her own. Not only did she release her third memoir which received a best selling title, she also has two new Hulu projects in the works.

The first — starring on season 2 of Vanderpump Villa.

The second Stassi installment is her own show titled, Stassi Says.

As both Stassi and the NSBNF host Amanda Hirsch teasingly noted, show descriptions for both projects are purposely vague and lacking context.

“I’d hate me too,” Stassi jokes.

However, good news for those eagerly awaiting Stassi’s return to their screens…

Cameras are officially up in the Schroeder-Clark household per one of the Hulu producers.
