“Vanderpump Rules” alum Stassi Schroeder was thrilled to share with fans that she was selected to walk in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit show in Miami later this month.
Schroeder took to TikTok Wednesday to share the exciting news.
“What I’m about to say may come as a shock to anyone watching this video right now,” she began as she put on earrings. “It’s a shock to me.”
She couldn’t believe the news even as she updated fans on her next venture.
“What? Like 36-year-old, mom of two,” Schroeder said, while still trying to comprehend the soon to be swimsuit walk.
She added that even though her body has changed since having kids, “Sports Illustrated was still like ‘You,'” as she pointed to the camera.
Schroeder’s Children React to the News
Schroeder shared a series of Instagram stories showcasing her excitement. She posted a portion of her TikTok video as well as when she originally received the news.
She also shared two adorable videos of how herself, as well as her two children, daughter Hartford, 4, and her son Messer Rhys, 1, were celebrating the news.
As Will Smith’s “Miami” song played in the background, Schroeder danced and asked Hartford if she was going to Miami. Hartford gave the camera a big thumbs up.
The second video showed all three dancing and enjoying the moment with the words, “They don’t even know who their mom is right now. SWIMSUIT MODEL WHO.”
She shares her two children with her husband Beau Clark. The two married in a small ceremony in September 2020 and had a larger wedding in Italy in 2022, according to People.
Schroeder Doesn’t Have Very Much Time to Practice
While the Bravo star was delivering the news to fans, she realized that she doesn’t have much time before the event.
“I don’t know how to walk. I have no [expletive] idea how to walk,” Schroeder jokingly said regarding her upcoming appearance.
“So I should probably practice or something,” she continued. “I don’t know.”
The Bravo star told fans in the video they could buy tickets for the event, and she gave this instructions on what to bring if they do so decide to attend.
“Bring flowers, don’t throw tomatoes,” she said. “OK, because I’m new here.”
Former “Real Housewives of New York” star Bethenny Frankel is also set to make an appearance, according to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s Instagram account.
