Stassi Schroeder Uses a Burner Account to Keep Tabs on Former 'VPR' Co-Stars' Social Media

Stassi Schroeder is leaving Vanderpump Rules in the past. Well, sort of.

The three-time bestselling New York Times author, 36, got candid about keeping tabs on her former VPR co-stars from afar while chatting exclusively with Parade ahead of the Season 2 premiere of Vanderpump Villa, on which she makes her return to reality TV. Lisa Vanderpump was also present for Parade's exclusive interview.

"Some of us cheer each other on," Schroeder says of her former castmates. "Other ones, I'll go on my burner account and I'll check up on. Do you know what I mean? Of course I have a burner account."

When asked if she's blocked by some of the Bravo stars, Schroeder tells Parade, "Oh, no. I mean, I talk about it all the time, so they do know [I have a burner]. But I just don't want them to see my face pop up."

Schroeder starred on VPR from Season 1 to Season 8 with original cast members Katie Maloney, Kristen Doute, Jax Taylor, Tom Sandoval, Scheana Shay and series creator Vanderpump. The "Stassi" podcast host later exited the series after Season 8 in 2020 alongside Taylor, 45, Doute, 42, and Brittany Cartwright, along with newcomers Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni.

Meanwhile, Vanderpump Villa premiered on Hulu in April 2024. The first season of the reality series followed an entirely new cast of staff members at Vanderpump's lavish French chateau, where they curate one-of-a-kind experiences for guests. Schroeder joined the cast for its second season, which takes place in Italy. Her husband, Beau Clark, also appears on the show.

As for whether Schroeder and Vanderpump ever thought they'd do another show together, the pair tell Parade that there wasn't a doubt in either of their minds that they'd one day reunite.

"I think whether she likes it or not, our souls are connected in some way, where we will always just be going like this," says Schroeder before turning to Vanderpump, adding: "You're just stuck with me for a while."

Season 2 of Vanderpump Villa premieres on Hulu on Thursday, April 24.
