It rarely ends well when the husbands get involved in the drama on the Real Housewives. And that scenario recently happened on the Real Housewives of Orange County. Katie Ginella got into it with Tamra Judge, and then Katie’s husband, Matt Ginella, stepped in. Two Ts In A Pod host Teddi Mellencamp and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne were not fans of that move. The two had quite a lot to say about Matt defending his wife, and it wasn’t good.

If Teddi and Erika had it their way, none of the husbands would get involved on the Real Housewives. Try telling that to the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City hubbies! Still, was Matt in the wrong defending his wife, Katie?
The two were on their way out of Heather Dubrow’s party when they ran into Tamra. And Katie had just gotten into it with Shannon Beador, who was mad at her because Tamra had spilled the tea that Katie recorded Shannon.
When Tamra told Katie she didn’t want to see her cry, Matt scoffed, “Please. You started it. You’re going to come over and pretend like you care right now?”
Teddi wondered, “Why is Matt trying to be a better housewife than his wife?” She added, “I have to say, back when Edwin [Arroyave] and I were doing the show, the last thing that he cared about was the gossip.”
Erika quipped, “I liked Matt last year when he was just quiet and in the corner … don’t fight your wife’s fight. It’s a show about women. Go home and b*tch to your husband, but don’t have your husband stick up for you.”
Then Erika had a message for Matt. She said, “Hey Matt, you know what, like, don’t be throwing down your judgement. Let us cook, and you stay over there and just look like He-Man.” Um, does Erika know what He-Man looks like? Because it’s definitely not Matt.
Teddi chimed in, “Or don’t come. Or actually don’t come.” Erika agreed, “I prefer you don’t come.”
