Steph Curry Reveals Who's To Blame for Ankle Injury

Steph Curry made his triumphant return for the Golden State Warriors on Monday following a three-game absence. The GOAT shooter was relegated to the sideline after suffering an ankle injury that, fortunately, was not all too serious.

Curry was forced to exit in the fourth quarter of Golden State's 112-104 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Oct. 27 -- the Warriors' only defeat so far this season -- after twisting his left ankle for a second time in the game.

The former back-to-back MVP attempted to play through an initial ankle tweak, which by his own admission, was not exactly the best decision he made. On Tuesday, Curry acknowledged that he only has himself to blame for the injury.

"I made a misjudgment on that one because it was right away," Curry responded when asked if the first ankle issue led to the second one during the Clippers game. "Adrenaline got the best of me. But thankfully it was only a little over a week (of absence), and I feel good now."

As he said, Steph Curry has been in that same position many times in his career and he knows his body well. At that point in time, he felt that he could play through the injury. Now that the Warriors point guard has the benefit of hindsight, he can honestly say that he could have been more prudent with his decision-making.

The silver lining is that Curry's ill-advised call only cost him three games. He returned to action on Monday to lead the Warriors to victory with 24 points, three rebounds, six assists and four triples.

Curry and Co. have a big one coming up on Wednesday when they battle the defending champions Boston Celtics at TD Garden.
