Steph Curry Opens Door to Ending Career in Eastern Conference

BENICIA — Four-time NBA Champion and two-time MVP Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors will be visiting SIPS - The Bottle Emporium in Benicia for an autographing event on Saturday, June 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Curry is promoting his Kentucky bourbon, Gentleman's Cut. Motivated by his passion for premium bourbon, he was been intimately involved in every step of the process, from the manufacturing, blending, and aging, to the packaging and marketing efforts. Gentleman's Cup is aged five to seven years in charred new white oak barrels, resulting in tasting notes of cinnamon, seared caramel and sweet toasted chestnut.

The bourbon is distilled, aged and bottled by Game Changer Distillery in Boone County, Kentucky. Curry partnered with John Schwartz, owner of the Amuse Bouche Winery in the Napa Valley, to form this joint venture. Gentleman's Cut is distributed by Southern Glazers W7S in the U.S. and has recently launched worldwide in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

According to a press release, this is Curry's first autographing event at a retailer in the United States and comes just before he and Team USA leave for Europe and the Summer Olympics in Paris. The NBA great is a 10-time all-star and has won two gold medals at FIBA World Cup events with the national team.

SIPS opened in downtown Benicia last November and is located at 736 1st Street.
