Rachael Kirkconnell is setting the record straight on whether she shared a smooch with fellow reality star Harry Jowsey.

“Rachael and Harry Jowsey are dating I saw them making out at the nightclub I work at in Miami,” one user wrote via Instagram, per a screenshot shared by Bachelor Nation Scoop.

According to the fan account, Kirkconnell, 28, replied, “This is such a lie I have never kissed that man. It’s crazy that y’all can just come on the internet and spread lies like this.”

The speculation comes months after Matt James announced his split from Kirkconnell via Instagram in January.

“Father God, give Rachael and I strength to mend our broken hearts,” James, 33, wrote at the time. “Give us a peace about this decision to end our relationship that transcends worldly understanding. Shower our friends and family with kindness and love to comfort us. And remind us that our Joy comes from you, Lord 💔.”

Days later, Kirkconnell — who dated the former Bachelor for four years — revealed during an appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that her ex shared the Instagram post three hours after they separated. She was about to take off on an international flight when James broke the news.

“It was interesting to see the caption only because I feel like there was no — I don’t know how to explain it. I guess it almost seemed like saying it like a prayer was the easier way to say it than to say something real,” she said at the time. “Not that it wasn’t real, but just something authentic to our actual relationship, but it’s very him. I guess it didn’t surprise me that he said it like that. I guess I was just surprised that he said it at all, that he posted that.”

While reflecting on their breakup, Kirkconnell shared in March that she’s not currently “throwing [herself] out there,” but she hopes her next relationship unfolds “naturally, organically [and] randomly.” As for dating apps, Kirkconnell shared that they “kind of intimidate her” because there are people on the site that are “not necessarily looking for a serious relationship.”

“I’ve never really been a hookup kind of girl,” she explained on “The Squeeze” podcast. “I really have to just know them on a deeper level and have almost like an emotional connection to them. So that’s another thing that scares me about dating. I really do feel like I’m going to just have to know them on a deeper level to even, like, consider a relationship with them. And I just don’t know if people’s intentions are true when they’re on those apps. Of course, it’s a ‘dating app,’ but I think that a lot of people aren’t using it to find relationships.”

She continued, “That’s the only reason I would say I’m opposed. I’m not against it and I think like, again, like you said, a lot of people have found relationships from it and I love that. I’m not talking down to anyone who’s on dating apps. I’m just kind of scared of them.”
