Lindsay Hubbard is addressing split rumors from her boyfriend, Turner Kufe, and revealing when she last spoke to Carl Radke.
As she also reflected on Carl’s hot mic moment, shared why she may never forgive her former fiancé, and explained her thoughts on a future marriage, Lindsay, 39, spoke of her daughter Gemma appearing on Summer House and revealed where she and Turner stand today.
“No, we didn’t,” Lindsay replied during an April 4 interview with It Girl after being asked if she and Turner broke up. “We are very much together all the time, day in, day out, being parents to our baby. We just went to Florida. We have a couple of trips coming up and yeah, just like, normal life with a newborn.”
Lindsay has understandably distanced herself from Carl as she focuses on being a new mom. However, she did see him recently.
“I saw Carl at the Summer House premiere party, and I brought all of his mail that I still get to my apartment years later. It’s like a new favorite pastime of mine, every time I see him I’m like, ‘Mail! Here’s your mail, Mr. Radke.’ And now it’s like an inside joke,” she shared. “So that’s how we speak, through mail.”
Then confirming she “of course” watches Summer House because she likes to add to the ratings and keep track of “who’s talking sh*t” in preparation for the reunion, Lindsay slammed Carl for his hot mic moment.
“What he said was just really distasteful and kind of f*cked up,” she stated. “His hot mic moment was like, ‘Oh, the reason Lindsay hid her pregnancy so long was because she knew it would be so crazy if people found out that she had gotten pregnant so quickly after the breakup.'”
According to Lindsay, that’s not at all why she hid her pregnancy.
“As a woman, for any man to comment on when I’m comfortable talking about what’s going on with my body is just inappropriate,” she noted. “Everyone knows women don’t announce their pregnancies until after the first trimester just because there’s the highest risk of miscarriage in the first trimester … I’ve had a miscarriage before, so I wasn’t ready to talk about what was going on with my pregnancy.”
“I would say that really surprised me, for someone to claim that they are happy for me, but clearly that comment means that you weren’t happy for me,” she continued.
While Lindsay has moved on from her messy split from Carl, she hasn’t forgiven him for calling off their wedding on camera.
“This was probably the most traumatic thing that’s ever happened to me in my adult life,” she admitted. “I don’t know that I’ll ever forgive that ex of mine, for doing that, it was really f*cked up. We were supposed to get married two months later, and next thing you know, there was cameras in my living room, and he’s breaking up with me on television.”
Getting back to her current relationship, Lindsay answered a question about whether she’ll get married.
“I don’t know. I came close that one time, and I’m so glad that we didn’t get married because that was just not the guy for me, so I don’t know,” she explained. “I think the pressure’s off for me. I have a baby. I have eggs on ice and I’m really taking my time to make sure that the person that I do marry eventually is the most compatible person for me … I don’t really want to get married more than once, so yea, I’m taking my time.”
As for whether Gemma will soon make her Summer House debut, Lindsay said, “I hope so.”
“It’s difficult because I’m public. Mom is public. Dad is private. So what does that make Gemma?” she wondered. “It’s a conversation that he and I have a lot, and I don’t know. It’s still a big topic in our household, what to do, but I hope she can come because she’s adorable and everyone should meet her.”
Summer House season nine airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
