Paige DeSorbo opened up about her future with Craig Conover before filming the Summer House season eight reunion earlier this month.
After the Southern Charm cast member, 35, proclaimed on a recent episode that he wanted his “first child by 40,” Paige, 31, confirmed their current status, addressed Danielle Olivera‘s claim of her giving her boyfriend “nothing,” and weighed in on Kyle Cooke, 41, and Amanda Batula‘s marriage.
“I’m not engaged and I’m not pregnant,” Paige said during an interview with BravoTV.com ahead of the reunion taping.
She’s also giving plenty to Craig despite the criticisms of Danielle, 35.
“I give Craig everything,” she clarified. “It’s actually draining me.”
Paige also addressed Paige’s shade on the Summer House: After Show.
“I know in my heart and head how much I’ve done for Craig in terms of his self-esteem, in terms of his health — I mean, I changed his hair and he looks phenomenal,” she noted. “So, I didn’t really take that much offense to [Danielle’s comment] — not like the actual words she said — ’cause I knew she didn’t know what she was talking about. So, I wasn’t even offended by that. I was offended at the audacity.”
In a sneak peek at the May 16 episode of Summer House, shared by Bravo, Paige is seen speaking to Kyle about her concerns for his and Amanda’s future, following a spat between the couple over Amanda’s career aspirations, which include a step back from Loverboy.
“I don’t want to have this conversation in five years that she’s leaving you. You’re starting that slippery slope. She’s gonna get so unhappy,” Paige says. “You’re going to lose your marriage because of a company? You’re at a really big life crossroad.”
According to Kyle, he would “of course” be willing to allow Amanda, 32, time away from their company but suspects her issues are “more complicated than that.”
“You’re being really selfish, Kyle,” Paige fires back, prompting Kyle to call her accusation “f*cking bullsh*t.”
Ciara Miller, 28, weighs in as well, telling Kyle, “You have to understand, like, she is so wrapped up in your entire world. Everything is about you. What if she has something that’s for her?”
“She needs to be doing stuff that’s potentially going to make her happy and she needs to find her own identity outside of her relationship with you,” Ciara continued. “And if she’s not happy, you’re going to be working with nothing.”
While Kyle seemed to be receptive to Paige’s concerns at first, he didn’t sound so compassionate on last week’s Summer House: After Show, where he took aim at Amanda’s work ethic, suggesting that any business she’d like to start up would have to be run by him.
“All this sounded like to me was, ‘Hey, Kyle, I’ve got an idea, and I need you to do it,'” he shared. “Because I know how it’s gonna shake out because that’s how everything shakes out in our relationship, me doing the work.”
