'Survivor' Legend ‘Boston’ Rob Mariano Sparks ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Rumors

The reality television legend spilled the tea at the Kentucky Derby over the weekend.

Anyone who is a fan of reality television knows "Boston" Rob Mariano, first rising to reality television stardom due to his several stints on Survivor.

For those who need a refresher, Mariano was a contestant on Survivor: MarquesasSurvivor: All-StarsSurvivor: Heroes vs. VillainsSurvivor: Redemption Island and Survivor: Winners at War, also serving as a mentor during Survivor: Island of the Idols.

Winning Survivor: Redemption Island and serving as a finalist on Survivor: All-Stars, the Boston, Massashussetts native is remembered for his impressive, dominant gameplay, but also his showmance-turned-marriage with fellow “Sole Survivor” Amber Brkich. How sweet is that?

Since his Survivor journey has come to a close (allegedly), Mariano has dipped his toe into other aspects of the reality television world, recently competing on the inaugural season of Deal or No Deal Island, as well as the third season of The Traitors.

Could Dancing With the Stars be next for the 49-year-old, though? Well, fans seem to think so after Mariano made some sneaky comments while speaking to Access Hollywood at the Kentucky Derby over the weekend.

Kicking off the conversation, the reporter asked Mariano about his relationship with Dylan Efron — Zac Efron's brother who he formed a very strong bond with throughout The Traitors season 3.

"Dylan's great. You know, I just talked to him yesterday — actually this morning — and he was giving me fashion tips," Mariano gushed. "It's surprising 'cause, you know, you go on these shows, and you don't expect to meet people that you're gonna be married to for 20 years, or you're gonna be friends with after all this time."

"Serendipitously, you know, he and I just vibed, and it's all good," the Survivor legend concluded with an ear-to-ear grin.

After discussing Mariano and Efron's bromance, the reporter suggested that the duo have a television show of their own, to which he replied, "There's been a little talk about that, so we're trying to figure out something for sure."

When the conversation swiftly shifted to Dancing With the Stars, fans ears perked up, as Mariano's response was rather intriguing. "I cannot confirm or deny anything," he said with a cheeky grin, and needless to say, we are on the edge of our seats.

To see whether or not Mariano will join Robert Irwin and other soon-to-be announced celebrities on Dancing With the Stars season 34, it is safe to say that we will be keeping up with both the reality television sensation, as well as the series we know and love, on Instagram until further notice: @bostonrobmariano and @dancingwiththestars.
