Tamra Judge is pulling no punches when it comes to her thoughts on Gretchen Rossi’s potential return to Real Housewives of Orange County next season. The fiery RHOC star recently spoke about the brewing tension between herself, Gretchen, and fellow castmate Heather Dubrow, revealing that things could get darker than fans anticipate.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Tamra was asked about her feelings toward Gretchen this season, especially after the two had a heated exchange in the RHOC season 19 trailer. The trailer teased a dramatic moment where Gretchen shouted at Heather, asking her to “make it make sense” with a perplexed “Why?!” Tamra did not hold back in her response, saying, “Give me a break. I had zero desire to go in and talk about the stuff that [she and I] talked about 12 to 15 years ago. If anybody should have any issues, it should be me … Anytime there’s a microphone in front of her, she will talk about me. It’s weird behavior.”
When it came to Gretchen’s emotional "shout-out crying" scene in the trailer, Tamra made it clear where she stood. “I would like to think that that’s a deal breaker for Heather,” she said, adding, “It’s definitely a deal breaker for me. The content of what we’re talking about is a big fat no for me.”
The interview then took an intriguing turn when Tamra was asked how she would feel if Gretchen were to return to RHOC next season. Tamra, ever the drama-stirring reality star, gave a cryptic response: “I think that I would have to re-evaluate things.” She didn’t stop there, returning to the explosive moment between Gretchen and Heather, saying, “I think [this ends the season] in a very, very dark place… It’s something that I’ve kind of known about for a long time, and it’s so dark. It’s like, you don’t really want to talk about it, but also do you want to be friends with someone like this?”
When pressed about her role in the drama, Tamra didn’t shy away from taking credit. Host Brice Sander asked, “Are you the architect of that moment? Did you bring this information to the table?” Tamra responded without hesitation: “Yes.”
The drama didn’t stop there. Tamra also teased a RHOC moment involving a lie detector test, which fans have been eagerly waiting to see. “That was my first all-cast event after quitting. So I was very nervous,” she explained. “I always thought it would be a good idea to do that. And it was really funny to see who was scared … Katie was scared. Shannon was not very happy about it. Gretchen was not very happy about it. I’m like, oh, cool. This is going to be fun … I mean, it was fine for me, but it was not fun for Katie.”
Tamra recently posted about receiving flowers from Katie Ginella backstage at Watch What Happens Live, which sent fans into a frenzy. However, in the ET interview, Tamra revealed that the post was more of a way to “stir the pot.” She also shaded Katie, suggesting that her castmate’s repeated lying had been “proven,” adding even more fuel to the fire.
