Teddi Mellencamp joins fellow RHOBH stars to celebrate Kyle Richards' daughter's wedding amid cancer battle

Teddi Mellencamp put on a dazzling display of strength and style over the weekend, stepping out to celebrate Kyle Richards’ daughter's wedding with her Real Housewives besties—all while continuing her courageous fight against cancer.

The 43-year-old reality star was first diagnosed with Stage 2 melanoma in 2022, but her condition took a terrifying turn earlier this year when it progressed to Stage 4 after doctors discovered multiple brain tumors.

In a powerful update last month, Teddi revealed that the tumors have shrunk significantly—and she’s potentially just weeks away from being declared cancer-free.

The news comes after she was once given only a 'fifty-fifty' chance of survival.

With a renewed sense of hope, Teddi radiated positivity as she shared a joyful group snap on Instagram Sunday.

Wrapped in a sparkling silver gown and a sleek black fur jacket, she proudly flaunted her shaved head and vibrant spirit while posing arm-in-arm with Kyle, bride-to-be Alexia Umansky, Lisa Rinna, and Dorit Kemsley

Kyle captioned the heartwarming shot, 'Our beautiful bride-to-be @alexiaumansky was feeling the love last night,' before throwing in a hilarious nod to RHOBH history—specifically when Denise Richards once wore her jacket upside down in a 2023 episode.

'Also, someone here didn’t know their jacket was on upside down #dejavu,' she joked.

The happy post comes after the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star offered another update on her Two T's In a Pod podcast with Tamra Judge, where she called in from her actual immunotherapy appointment.

'Today I had the scan and where they checked my lungs and they are shrinking and one of them has shrunk so much you can barely even see it,' she said.

Her co-host Judge commented on her Instagram post that linked to their podcast, revealing she, 'can't stop crying tears of joy,' adding, 'I love you so much.'

Mellencamp added, 'So it's really really good news. I'm definitely so relieved. I'm also a little bit like, if I sound a little weird, it's because I'm in the middle of them in a therapy treatment right now. But what they said was this is good news. That means my body is responding to everything. But I do need to live on immunotherapy for the next two years.'

'So every four weeks for the next two years, I have to come in and get that done. So and then every three months I get another scan and we check to make sure that everything is where it is,' she added.

Teddi admitted she was a bit confused, adding, 'I thought that, like, once the tumors start going away, I'm like, so, does that mean I'm cancer free? And he's like no.'

'He's like you, we will let you know when you're in remission. But at this point, everything's just heading the correct way,' she added.

When Tamra asked if the immunotherapy was 'curing' the cancer or 'controlling' it, Mellencamp said, 'both.'

The wedding of Kyle's daughter also comes weeks after Teddi admitted she was 'preparing her children for the worst.'

Mellencamp and her estranged husband Eddie Arroyave are parents to daughter Slate, 12, son Cruz 10, and daughter Dove, five, along with Arroyave's daughter Isabella.

'Teddi is a fighter – anyone who has watched Real Housewives can attest to that,' Radar reported at the time.

'But it just saps her fighting spirit to think she had beaten this, only to receive another horrible diagnosis. She had told her children that mommy's sick, but she is going to be okay, and now it's tearing her up to lay out the dark truth to them.'

'Teddi does her very best to remain optimistic through her ordeals, but her main thought is with her family and beating this cancer for their sake.'

Last month she also revealed that her famous father John Mellencamp, 73, was planning her burial, asking whether she would be buried in the 'family mausoleum.'

On an episode of her Two Ts in a Pod podcast with Tamra Judge, Mellencamp explained her dad had called to make sure she would be laid to rest in the family mausoleum.

'He goes, "Well you’re doing your will right now, so you may as well put it in there."'

In spite of the dark humor, Mellencamp said her father 'always taught me to be a fighter.'

For now, the determined patient is taking each day as it comes.

'I think the biggest thing is don't take anything for granted. Normally, I'm used to running seven miles, today, I'm barely walking one, but you know what? I'm here and that makes me feel good. These are special times that we get to do any of this.'
