Teddi Mellencamp may be struggling with a stage four cancer diagnosis, but that doesn't mean she's not up for trying new things.
The former reality star, 43, who proudly showed off her shaved head at the Gracie Awards, showed off her latest trick in a sweet video on social media as she and her son Cruz, 12, gave the Titanic Couple Challenge a try.
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star showed a demonstration of a successfully completed stunt in which one person lies on the floor, lift their feet over their head and rests them on a second person's legs.
Holding the hands of the second person, the first person straightens their knees and leans forward at an angle looking similar to the way Kate Winslet's Rose and Leonardo DiCaprio's Jack did in the Academy Award winning blockbuster.
'This is our second-ish try on something very special we want to do together,' the proud mom told the camera, and then speaking to her son she said, 'you think this is our sixth try?'

Teddi Mellencamp, 43, found a unique way to bond with her son Cruz, 10, in a sweet video on social media
Mother and son both wore pajamas as they stumbled through the moves, but seemed to have good time doing it.
Mellencamp white PJs with dark blue flowers, while Cruz looked comfy in green plaid bottoms and a white hoodie.
The former reality star, who has worked as a personal trainer, had Cruz lie on the floor and roll backward.
However, instead of putting his feet on his mom's legs, she had him put them on the lower part of her tummy across her transverse abdominus while Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On played in the background.
They managed to get Cruz's head and torso off the ground, but even though his mom instructed him to 'straighten your legs,' he was unable to. However the tween laughed at the whole thing.
After they abandoned the final try, Mellencamp began hamming it up and dancing for the camera and then when Cruz got up, she embraced him and made him dance with her for a moment, kissing the back of his neck. Cruz did a good job of trying NOT to look embarrassed.
'Really missed the kids and thought the best way to bond would be over a trend we couldn’t do,' the fitness coach wrote next to the clip adding the hashtags #titanicchallenge and #mothersonchallenge.
'This made me cry. I don’t think that was your intent, but it’s just so sweet,' shared one fan of her reaction.
Showing an example of what they were going for, Mellencamp shared a clip of the Titanic Couple Challenge she and her son were about to attempt, hoping to take part in the viral trend
The idea is to simulate this scene featuring Kate Winslet 's Rose and Leonardo DiCaprio 's Jack in the Academy Award winning blockbuster Titanic

Mellencamp's recent revelation indicates she may be able to face a lot more challenges with her kids.
She shares Cruz, Slate, 12, and Dove, five, along with stepdaughter Bella, 15, with her estranged husband Edwin Arroyave.
Mellencamp, who is the daughter of rocker John Mellencamp and actress Victoria Granucci, was first diagnosed with Stage 2 melanoma in 2022, but her condition took a terrifying turn earlier this year when it progressed to Stage 4 after doctors discovered multiple brain tumors.
In a recent video on social media, the patient revealed her tumors have significantly shrunk, and doctors believe she is a few weeks away from being cancer free.
'I just finished with all of my scans, and my tumors have significantly shrunk, which doctors believe means that this all will work, and that I will be back to myself, and feeling good,' she told her fans on Instagram.
Mellencamp who was initially told by doctors she had a fifty–fifty chance of survival revealed at the time she had two more sessions of immunotherapy, adding, 'and then hopefully I am done, and I will be cancer free.'
