Is Teen Mom star, Jenelle Evans letting her kids ditch school and essentially raise themselves? She has been known to let her eldest son, Jace stay home in the past whereas Kaiser was suspended for an extended period. Furthermore, Jenelle has a habit of homeschooling her kids so what is going on now that they live in Las Vegas? Keep reading for all of the details.
Jenelle Evans’ Kids Ditching School, Raising Selves?
When Jenelle Evans was still with David Eason and living in North Carolina, her kids did not seem to go to school much. She has three children, Jace, Kaiser, and Ensley. In August 2023, Jace was allegedly not attending school at all while running away three times in two months. Kaiser was supposedly suspended after Jenelle had been homeschooling him and Ensley. Eventually, she left David in February 2024 and opted to change her whole life. She had been welcomed back to Teen Mom: The Next Chapter after being fired in 2019.
This led her to want to leave North Carolina and all of the bad memories behind so she chose Las Vegas where her friend, manager, and potential love interest, August Keen lived. Jace was resistant to the move as he had just settled in North Carolina again and did not want to leave his friends. Yet, they moved but now it looks like Jenelle is letting her kids run the show. She has full custody of Ensley after working out an agreement with David so she can call the shots. However, according to The Sun, Ensley and Kaiser are doing whatever they want.
An insider shared that the kids were not in school for most of the week of September 27th:
“Both of the younger kids were out playing in the street in front of Jenelle’s home pretty much all day on Thursday and Friday of last week.”
Furthermore, Ensley, 7, and Kaiser, 10, were unattended from approximately 830 to 1130 am. He was riding his electric scooter whereas his sister biked around:
“They were outside from about 8:30 till around 11:30 am and were kind of all over the neighborhood. They seemed to be riding around the blocks and going to a neighbor’s home and coming back.”
Class NOT In Session?
Before jumping to conclusions, was the school even in session during that time? Did Jenelle Evans’ kids have a short recess or were they just playing hooky? Unfortunately, school was in session during this time but they were not in attendance. On a positive note, the insider shared they looked like they were doing well. Therefore, that is a good thing to hear after all the drama that went on with CPS and David Eason. It seems they are adapting well to Las Vegas but why were they not in school? So far, there has been no comment from Jenelle.
