‘Teen Mom’ Kailyn Lowry Regrets Having Tubes Tied, Wants More Kids

Teen Mom fans have seen Kailyn Lowry’s family grow over the years. Recently, the MTV star made a surprising admission during a recent podcast appearance. Talking about having her tubes tied, Kailyn shared some regrets, revealing she still wanted more children. During the conversation, she also shared one of the hardest parts of managing her large family.

Kailyn first appeared on 16 & Pregnant back in 2010. Following this, her story was continued on the Teen Mom 2 series.

As fans know, Kailyn is the mother of seven children, made up of six sons and one daughter. These are Isaac Rivera, Lincoln Marroquin, Lux Lowry, Creed Lopez, Rio Scott, Verse Scott, and Valley Scott.

Kailyn recently appeared on the “Give Them Lala” podcast with Lala Kent, who is herself known for appearing on the reality series Vanderpump Rules. During the episode, Lowry discussed being a parent to seven kids, co-parenting, reality television, and even raising chickens.

During the conversation, Kailyn was asked if she wanted more children. The Teen Mom star shared, “You know what’s so crazy about this is that I had my tubes removed when I had the twins.” However, she admitted she felt “instant regret.”

Kailyn understood that people might be surprised to hear this, saying, “I know it’s crazy and people think that I’ve already lost my mind three kids ago. Maybe even four kids ago.” She added that she wasn’t sure if this was due to “mental illness” or simply “biological.”

Noting that IVF was also an option, Kailyn admitted, “I do want more kids… The complicated answer to that is I would have more kids if I could.” Upon hearing this, the host mused, “Wow, you’re a savage.”

Kailyn admitted, upon being asked, that she was already exhausted as a mother. She even recounted Elijah asking if something was wrong with her, causing Kailyn to reply that she needed more caffeine. She also admitted, “I think the hardest part of all of it, all of the chaos, all of the madness, is truly just figuring out what to feed them,” whether it was three meals a day or even snacks.
