‘Teen Mom’ Mackenzie McKee Gives Fans Big ICU Update On Twins

Mackenzie McKee Shares Heartwarming Twin ICU Update

Teen Mom star Mackenzie McKee was struggling when she hit thirty-ish weeks pregnant. She began to swell so incredibly much that it sent her to the hospital. Mackenzie’s fears were dismissed, but she ended up getting a second opinion. She had preeclampsia and the initial hope was that should could carry her twin girls until thirty-six weeks. That ended up not being an option, and Mackenzie was prepped for an emergency C-section. Admittedly, it all happened so fast, and she was scared, crying for her late mother and her fiancé, Khesanio Hall.

He had run home, and that was about forty-five minutes away from the hospital. It all happened so quickly, but the couple welcomed Ja’Kharie Angie Hall and Ja’Meikah Angella Hall, both healthy. The girls did have to go to the NICU, as they were early. Fortunately, Mackenzie was discharged from the hospital and able to go home to her three older children. As for the twins, Mackenzie just shared this update, and it is beautiful:

• Day 4 of NICU. No more IV. Mom finally got to hold Ja’kharie. Dad got his first skin to skin. His entire heart melted. (He has baby Ja’Meikah)

The Teen Mom star also shared that the girls had big hands and a lot of hair, which was so heartwarming to see. Both girls look so happy to be with their parents, and it is only a matter of time before they are at home with their siblings.

Fans saw this and immediately shared how proud they were of Mackenzie McKee. They have been watching out for her since she began to swell and wanted to ensure she had the proper care. Had she not gotten a second opinion, it could have been fatal.

Love & Support For The Growing Family

Teen Mom fans were thrilled to see Ja’Kharie Angie and Ja’Meikah Angella thriving and looking so incredibly sweet. Of course, this has been a scary journey, but Mackenzie McKee and Khesanio Hall pulled through it as a team. She knew that anything could happen when she underwent IVF, but did not care. Mackenzie did what she had to in order to ensure she and Khesanio had the new additions he so desperately wanted. Now, there has been nothing but love and support:

• They were perfectly pick by grandma! Happy healthy twins at 5lbs… oh how your mom had her hand wrapped around them to keep the safe! I hope you know your mom is always with you and is in your girls!
• They are so big for preemies! Good job in the cooker, mama!
• Absolutely gawjuss double trouble xx
• Want to say this your doing amazing job and you and your body did amazing holding them babies girls in for as long as you could I felt the same way when my son was born at 32weeks he was 4lb 15oz he was in the nicu for a month I had my daughter at 31 …

This has been a crazy experience, but one that Mackenzie would likely do all over again to get these beautiful gifts.
