Teen Mom alum Javi Marroquin is sharing a surprising update to his relationship status.
The 31-year-old revealed he and Javi and his longtime love Lauren Comeau are set to wed—and he popped the question last year.
The duo marked one year as an engaged couple by sharing a glimpse of the sweet proposal, which took place in the Bahamas, in a joint Instagram post Oct. 17, alongside the caption, "10.16.23."

Written below the family are the words “Will U Marry Me?” spelled out in flowers and candles. The post continues with more pictures from the moment, including one of Javi down on one knee presenting the ring to his now-fiancée, and other of Lauren showing off her ring to Eli.
In addition to the sweet snap, fans also got to see the moment in question, as they also posted a clip walking across the resort to the secluded floral area where Javi popped the question.
And in the time since their private engagement, their family has grown as last December they announced they were expecting baby No. 2 together, welcoming Maizee, 4 months in May.
Javi and Lauren’s on-again, off-again romance began in 2017. The pair briefly split the same year, before reconnecting in 2018 and welcoming Eli. While they broke up again in 2020 they subsequently reunited the following year.
Javi and Lauren’s news comes after the family marked a special milestone. While Maziee was absent during the family’s last big vacation, she was around for this year’s trip to Costa Rica.
Javi shared their daughter’s fun milestone in an Oct. 1 post with photos of him holding his little girl during the plane ride writing, “Good morning beautiful people!! Maizee’s first plane ride was a success I’d say! Shes the best baby. And don’t worry, she was not gonna fall… I had her squished in the pillow and had her at the perfect angle so I saved a few of yall a comment lol… all love!”
