‘Teen Mom’ Star Leah Messer’s Daughter, Ali, Is Learning How to Drive

   

“Teen Mom” star Leah Messer and her ex-husband Corey Simms’ daughter, Ali, has gotten behind the wheel to start her driving lessons.

On December 13, Simms’ father, Jeff Simms, took to his Instagram account to share that his 15-year-old granddaughter is learning to drive. The photo showed Ali sitting in the driver’s seat with her hand on the wheel. 

“Ali is learning to drive! #aligrace,” read the caption of the post. 

Several fans flocked to the post’s comments section to share their excitement for Ali. A few commenters noted that Ali has muscular dystrophy. 

“I love that she made it this far and is pushing her self each day to get things accomplished and taking her self day by day she was beyond blessed after she was diagnosed with her issues she is pushing her self and keeping her head up way to go girl ❤️ 💪,” wrote a commenter. 

“Oh my gosh I feel old lol I have watched them grow up on teen mom and now they are learning to drive lol sheww wee 😂 way to go Ali girl, you are one strong and determined little lady!! 👏❤️,” added another. 

“Awesome, can’t believe Ali & Aleah (Gracie) can drive already. Go Ali so pretty & strong ! ❤️👏🙌,” shared a different person. 

“So proud of Ali and how far she came 🙌❤️,” chimed in a fourth social media user. 

Leah Messer Gave an Update About Her Daughter’s Health in September 2023

While speaking to E! News in September 2023, Messer gave fans an update about Ali’s health. 

“Not only has she gotten stronger physically. she’s also gotten stronger mentally,” said Messer to the publication.

She said, however, that she is unsure what Ali’s health will look like in the future. 

“I’m always gonna remain hopeful. Muscular dystrophy, is a degenerative progressive disease. So we don’t know what the future really looks like. But I know that we’re going to enjoy every single moment now and continue to make memories and make the best of it. I think that she will continue to defy the odds,” said Messer during the E! News interview. 

Leah Messer Said Horseback Riding Has Helped Ali

In the E! News interview, Messer noted that Ali, her twin sister, Aleeah, and their youngest sister, Addie, enjoy horseback riding.

In June 2024, Messer shared several photos of her daughters at a horse show on Instagram. In the pictures, Ali and Aleeah showed off the ribbons they received. 

“First Horse Show in ‘24! They all had great rides and more importantly a great time! 🤩,” wrote Messer in the post’s caption.
