Bachelor Nation fans first met Tenley Molzahn Leopold on Season 14 of “The Bachelor.” She later returned for Season 1 of “Bachelor Pad” and Season 2 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
And while Tenley ended up finding love off-screen, she’s been continuing to share her journey with Bachelor Nation.
Tenley met her now-husband Taylor Leopold back in 2016, and the two got married in 2018.
The couple welcomed their first daughter, Rell Jaymes Leopold, in 2020, and their second daughter, Banks Alaia Leopold, in May 2024.
Now in honor of Banks’ first birthday, Tenley is sharing her birth story for the first time.
In a new post online, she said, “A year ago today was my due date with Banks, the next day, she was FINALLY born! 🙌 I never shared my full birth story, so i thought today was a good day to do it!”
Tenley went on to share her story, starting with her 40-week checkup, where she made the decision to be induced.
After the decision was made, Tenley went back home to finish last-minute errands, take one last bump picture, and get some snuggles with their first daughter, Rell. The two then checked into the hospital and Tenley revealed her cervix had gone missing.
“My poor nurses and doctor tried so hard to find it, so they could check to see how dilated I was. It was PAINFUL,” she shared. “This went into the following day.”
Tenley continued to labor until her water broke, and then her mother-in-law, who works as a doula, came in to help coach her through. The Bachelor Nation star then shared that after she got an epidural and did one practice push, the baby was quickly coming.
Tenley then revealed Banks was born after only one more push. She expressed, “There is NOTHING like that moment meeting your baby for the very first time. 😭”
After some sweet quality time with their new baby girl, Rell got to meet her sister for the first time and Tenley shared, “Our family felt complete. 🩷”
