The Bachelor 29: I Think Grant Ellis & Juliana Pasquarosa Were The Worst Bachelor Couple Ever

Grant and Juliana's breakup was announced on June 13, 2025, which was just three months after The Bachelor season 29 finale. It confirmed my earlier suspicions of their incompatibility. Juliana’s demand for a second proposal and their non-committal wedding plans, including maintaining long-distance residences, signaled that Grant wasn't ready for marriage. The backlash was swift. Grant was labeled a player and their romance was accused of being a publicity stunt. Compared to successful Bachelor couples, Grant and Juliana’s superficial connection and post-show drama make them my least favorite Bachelor Nation pairing.

Grant Was Indecisive From The Start

Grant seemed so decisive when The Bachelor season 29 premiered. He quickly identified the winner of his first impression rose and seemed to know exactly what he was looking for. It wasn't long before this image started to unravel. Grant changed his mind wildly from one day to the next. The 31-yearold day trader and former basketball player often sent home his favorites, while keeping women he barely seemed to notice. I always felt like he didn't seem to know what he wanted or what he was looking for.

The season opened with Grant giving his first impression rose and a solo date to Alexe Goode, 28. They seemed to connect, but then he turned around and forgot about her for the rest of the season. 31-year-old contestant Dina Lupancu seemed to be his favorite, until her hometown date didn't go perfectly. He told Litia that he'd pick her, then turned around and picked Juliana. Litia even alleged that Grant once told her he wanted to end the season early to be with her.
