The Bachelor: Joey Graziadei And Kelsey Anderson's Big Confession About Their Wedding Makes Me Wonder If They'll Ever Get Married

The Bachelor 28's Kelsey Anderson recently made a big confession about her wedding to Joey Graziadei, and it's making me wonder if they'll ever get married after all. Over a year ago, 26-year-old Kelsey and 28-year-old Joey got engaged at the end of the unscripted dating show. They'd met just a few short weeks earlier, and, after a whirlwind relationship that took place entirely on television, Kelsey defeated 32 other single women to win Joey's final rose. They left the show together as a deeply committed couple, and have been living together ever since.

Joey Graziadei explains Kelsey Anderson's social media break while The Bachelor split rumors fly

Though it's been well over a year since they got engaged at the end of The Bachelor season 28, Joey and Kelsey have yet to announce their wedding date. Despite the lack of an official announcement, I had sort of just assumed that the two were planning their wedding this whole time, but Kelsey made some recent comments that have forced me to rethink my position. In fact, I'm starting to wonder if we'll ever see Joey and Kelsey walk down the aisle. Read on to learn about Kelsey's shocking revelation about her wedding to Joey.

Joey & Kelsey's Long Engagement

It Started In November 2023

The Bachelor's Joey Graziadei & Kelsey Anderson Share Major Relationship Update

Joey and Kelsey got engaged in November 2023, which is when The Bachelor season 28 finished filming. Since the show was still airing, that meant they had to keep their relationship a secret for months until the season finale aired. Joey and Kelsey weren't good at keeping the secret, and posted Instagram photos that proved to eagle-eyed fans that they'd spent a weekend together. I was personally convinced from early on that Kelsey was the winner, but I was surprised by the delay in announcing a wedding date.

I can understand why Joey and Kelsey wanted to take their time. After all, they were perfect strangers until just a few short weeks before Joey slipped a ring on Kelsey's finger during The Bachelor season 28 final rose ceremony. Though I understand their caution, they moved in together right away after they got engaged, so they're both completely committed to the relationship. Since they're practically already married, I don't understand why they don't make it official.

Kelsey's Confession

"We Want It To Just Be A Big Party"

Kelsey Anderson Reacts to Concern Over Joey Graziadei Relationship

Kelsey recently appeared on the Bachelor Happy Hour Podcast. When the show's host asked Kelsey about wedding planning, The Bachelor season 28 contestant confessed that she and Joey hadn't officially started planning yet. “We haven’t started yet because we are trying to figure out location, but once we have a location kind of narrowed down, then we’re gonna start wedding planning,” Kelsey explained. Though she and Joey are open to wedding ideas, Kelsey knows that they want it to be a big party.

I think Joey and Kelsey are a long ways away from a wedding date announcement.

I was genuinely surprised to hear that Joey and Kelsey are still in the earliest stages of planning their wedding. I feel like since they still haven't decided on a location it will be a long time before they walk down the aisle. I can't help but feel like the fact that they haven't made any decisions about their big day means they're nowhere near announcing a wedding date.

Will Joey & Kelsey Ever Get Married?

"Definitely Within The Next Two Years"

Are 'Bachelor' Joey Graziadei And Kelsey Anderson Still Together Now?

Despite Joey and Kelsey's long engagement, they seem nowhere near setting a wedding date. In August 2024, Kelsey and Joey posted an Instagram sponsorship with the convenience store chain, Wawa. In the ad, Kelsey told fans that they intended to plan their wedding, "definitely within the next two years."

Based on Kelsey's recent confession, The Bachelor won't be able to keep that promise. I think Joey and Kelsey won't ne announcing their wedding date any time soon. The pair have been focused on furthering their careers and living the LA lifestyle while they've also been spending time apart, which leads me to believe that their marriage union is on the back burner for now.

The Bachelor seasons 1-28 can be streamed on Hulu.
