The Bachelor: Signs Joey Graziadei And Kesley Anderson Will Never Get Married

The Bachelor season 28 ended with an engagement, but, over time, it has become increasingly possible that Joey Graziadei and Kesley Anderson will never get married. Joey, a 28-year-old tennis pro from Hawaii, made his television debut as a contestant on The Bachelorette season 20, and he made it to the final two. When Charity Lawson gave her final rose to Dotun Olukembo, Joey was devastated, but he was given another chance at finding love when he was cast as The Bachelor. On night one, he met Kelsey, a 26-year-old junior project manager from Louisiana, and they had instant chemistry.

After a full season of dates, rose ceremonies, tearful eliminations, and other dramatic interludes, The Bachelor season 28 ended with Joey giving his final rose to Kelsey. After he slipped a Neil Lane diamond ring on her finger, the couple rode off into the sunset to live their happily ever after. It's a beautiful story, but there has been some speculation about the fact that the couple still hasn't chosen a wedding date, and they appear to be in no hurry to do so. Are Joey and Kelsey just taking things slow, or is there trouble in paradise?

Joey & Kelsey's Fairytale Romance

She Beat Out A Lot Of Great Women

Joey was smitten with the tall, beautiful Kelsey from the moment she stepped out of the limousine on night one of The Bachelor season 28 with her signature mane of hair flowing around her. They got to know each other better during that night's cocktail party, and they even shared a kiss. Though Joey kissed seven women that first night, Kelsey would eventually be the last woman he would kiss. Joey met 32 women during The Bachelor 28, which was a record number of contestants for any show in the franchise.

Joey whittled his options down to Kelsey and 26-year-old Daisy Kent. Though Joey liked Daisy, it was always clear that he was going to choose Kelsey. In fact, it was so clear that even Daisy herself knew she wasn't going to win Joey's final rose. In an unprecedented turn of events, Daisy went to Kelsey's hotel room on the morning of the final rose ceremony and conceded Kelsey had won Joey's heart. The two women drove to the rose ceremony together, and Daisy ended things with Joey before he could break up with her.

Joey & Kelsey Ran Into Financial Trouble

Growing Pains

When Joey and Kelsey first went public with their relationships, their lives changed dramatically, and they couldn't easily go back to working their normal jobs. They were open about their financial issues as they initially juggled their new and old lives. Soon after their finale aired, they appeared on the Trading Secrets podcast, where Joey talked about forgetting to make a credit card payment while filming The Bachelor season 28, and how it dinged his credit score. For her part, Kelsey quit her office job as a project manager, and she and Joey grew impressive new careers as influencers.

Since settling into their new lives, Joey and Kelsey have grown massive social media followings on Instagram and TikTok.

Since becoming prominent social media influencers, Joey and Kelsey have earned lucrative partnerships with impressive companies. They even made a promotional video for retail giant Amazon, which Joey posted to Instagram. Their success on social media has changed their lives completely, and neither Bachelor star ever has to go back to their old jobs if they don't want to.

Their Awkward Living Situation Explained

They Had Multiple Roommates

In addition to their financial troubles, Joey and Kelsey's living situation at the time was also a problem. Apparently, Joey had been living with his sister in between his appearances on The Bachelorette and The Bachelor, so Kelsey invited him to move in with her and her multiple female roommates in New Orleans. Since the couple was traveling so much due to their new celebrity lifestyle, they were rarely at home, so the situation seemed to work for them. These days, the couple live in Los Angeles while Joey films Dancing With The Stars.

Joey and Kelsey got engaged in November 2023, which is when The Bachelor season 28 finished filming. More than ten months have passed since Joey put a ring on Kelsey's finger, but the couple haven't picked a wedding date. In August, Kelsey and Joey posted an Instagram sponsorship with the convenience store chain Wawa. In the clip, fans ask the couple about their wedding date.

When Joey looked at Kelsey for an answer, she replied, " definitely within the next two years ."

Kelsey went on to say that she and Joey would settle on a date and location for their Bachelor wedding "within the next six months." Since it's already early fall, another six months means they won't even announce a wedding date until 2025. The fact of the matter is, the longer they wait, the less likely they are to get married. Though they have yet to announce a date, Joey and Kelsey shared their engagement film shoot.

They're Too Busy To Get Married

They Shouldn't Wait Too Long

Joey and Kelsey appear to lead very busy lives as social media influencers and reality television stars. Since leaving The Bachelor season 28 together, they've spent a lot of time traveling. They've been spotted in Europe, riding around on yachts, and traveling throughout the United States. It's possible Joey and Kelsey are perfectly happy, and they're simply too busy to plan a wedding right now, but it's a mistake to drag things out for too long. If they're not careful, they'll call it quits before their wedding day, like many a Bachelor Nation couple before them.

The Bachelor seasons 1-28 can be streamed on Hulu.
