The Golden Bachelor season 2 will be better than season 1 because producers learned their lesson with Gerry Turner. The 72-year-old Gerry charmed audiences with his vulnerability, emotional moments, and genuine pursuit of connection, but his light quickly dimmed. Gary formed strong bonds with Faith Martin, Leslie Fhima, and Theresa Nist. He ultimately chose Theresa, and the two got engaged during the finale. Mark is more likely than Charles to appear on The Golden Bachelor because he's more open to moving on. Charles realized he was still grieving his past relationship and might need more time (and less publicity) to be with someone new. Mark would also make sense because he's no stranger to The Bachelor franchise: his daughter, Kelsey Anderson, is a Bachelor alum.
