The Valley’s Brittany Cartwright Recalls Jax Spying on Her Amid Rehab Stint and Accuses Him of Manipulation, Plus Talks “Awful” DMs From Other Women as Jax Defends His Actions

Brittany Cartwright looked back on Jax Taylor‘s sneaky behavior from rehab after Tuesday’s episode of The Valley as her estranged husband accused her of the “same thing.”

The Valley's Brittany Cartwright Recalls Jax Spying on Her Through Security Cams Amid Rehab Stint, Says He Warned Her of Someone "Watching," and Talks "Awful" DMs From Other Women as Jax Accuses Her of Doing the "Same Thing"

As Brittany, 36, looked back on Jax’s manipulative antics, accusing him of warning her of someone who was “watching” her at her rental home and revealing the “disgusting” messages she received from women claiming to have hooked up with him, Jax, 45, suggested that she was just as bad and shaded her speaking poorly about him in public.

“He was telling me what I was wearing, said that he knew where my rental house was, even though he did not know where my rental house was. It’s a manipulation thing that he does,” Brittany explained on the June 10 episode of The Valley: After Show.

According to Brittany, Jax had uncovered the cameras when he was at the house to pick up clothes, unbeknownst to her, and had been monitoring them from his phone in rehab.

“I was wearing a red shirt and jeans, and he told me, ‘I know you’re wearing a red shirt and jeans.’ But he acted like he saw me at the rental house with a guy, and that’s how he knew. He said that he had somebody that lived right next to my rental house watching me,” she revealed.

Meanwhile, Jax pointed out that he could “never hear” what was going on because they “didn’t have [any] microphones in there.”

“I was in a bad place, man. I was in the rehab, and I couldn’t do anything. You guys were all having a great time, and I’m stuck in this frickin’ facility. All I had was my phone. Of course, I’m gonna look at the cameras. Like, who wouldn’t?” he reasoned.

“[Plus],” he continued, “when I was living at the house and she was at the Airbnb, she was staring at the cameras the whole time, too. So, how is it any different? There’s no difference. She did the exact same thing.”

Admitting to keeping tabs on their marital home, Brittany said she did “check to see if girls were walking [in or out].”

“I knew he was lying about having people at our marital home at the time. I was still paying all the bills there. I mean, my wedding photos were everywhere. My son’s photos were everywhere. And I had already caught two girls in the house,” she explained.

After Lala Kent, 34, recalled Brittany receiving a DM from a girl, she noted that the message included a “disturbing” photo of the woman in Brittany and Jax’s bed with a photo of their 4-year-old son, Cruz, in the background.

“She not only sent me a selfie in my bed with my son’s photo in the back, she also sent me the disgusting text messages,” Brittany shared. “And I’ve gotten multiple screenshots of text messages from multiple different women, and it’s awful.”

While Brittany engaged in her own fling with Julian Sensley, 42, she noted that the messages she received from Jax’s women “was before he ever found out about Julian.”

“He tries to act like he waited this long time before he ever hooked up with anybody, and he puts this narrative out there,” she explained. “I’m like, ‘No, you had a girl in the house and she sent me the pictures.’”

In conclusion, Jax said he doesn’t “care” to come for Brittany anymore as he targeted her public statements against him.

“We both do a lot of things to each other … But the difference between her and I is, I don’t talk negatively about her in public. I never have and I never will. It’s the mother of my child. I don’t want to do that because years down the line, I don’t want my son to be like ‘Why did you say that in public?’” he stated.

The Valley season two airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
