“This Is Johanna — My Person”: Guy Gansert Debuts New Relationship After Past Turmoil

Bachelor Nation got to know Guy Gansert as he searched for love with Joan Vassos on the very first season of “The Golden Bachelorette.”

Guy made it to the very end with Joan, but Joan’s heart was with Chock Chapple, who she got engaged to.

Around six months after his time on the show, Guy took to social media earlier this month to reveal that he has found love off-screen with girlfriend Johanna Boston.

And now, the Golden Bachelor Nation star has taken to Instagram to share more about the new love in his life and revealed he’s found his person. 

Alongside a video slideshow with pictures of Johanna, Guy said, “🌟 Meet Johanna 🌟 I’ve been getting a lot of requests for more info about the incredible woman in my life, so I wanted to take a moment to share a bit about her! This is Johanna — my person. 💫” 

Guy then shared a little bit about her background and how the two of them met. 

He said, “Johanna grew up in the NJ/NYC area, where she worked in the fashion industry before becoming a proud mom of three. Now, she’s cofounder of a fintech company and also works in the commercial retail real estate business. In 2023, she made the move to Del Mar, CA, where we’ve been lucky enough to share so many amazing moments together.”

Guy also shared the qualities he loves most about Johanna and revealed “The Golden Bachelorette” brought them together. 

“Johanna is not only beautiful outside but is kind thoughtful happy energetic and has a heart of gold 💛” he expressed. “I’m so incredibly grateful for the opportunity that The Golden Bachelorette gave me to meet Johanna. Sometimes, life has a way of bringing the right people into your world when you least expect it. And let me tell you, I truly found my person. 💕”

Guy ended his post with words of encouragement for anyone still looking for love. 

He shared, “Here’s to the next chapter and all the adventures ahead! 🌻I want to encourage both young and golden to never give up. There is your person out there. Never stop smiling…”
