In a bold and empowering move, Love Is Blind star Natalie Lee is speaking out about a deeply personal decision — one that has nothing to do with a man, and everything to do with reclaiming her timeline.
After years of emotional ups and downs, including her highly publicized and heartbreaking split from Shayne Jansen, Natalie says she’s finally doing something for herself. And it started in a doctor’s office.
“Freezing my eggs wasn’t about panic. It wasn’t about pressure. It was about power,” she shared. “For the first time in a long time, I feel like I get to choose what my future looks like.”
Rebuilding After the Wreckage
Following her rollercoaster relationship on Love Is Blind and the fallout that followed, Natalie admits she felt lost.
“Everything was about love, or the lack of it. My worth felt tied to whether or not someone chose me — publicly, permanently,” she said. “That ends now.”
She credits therapy, deep friendships, and self-reflection with helping her realize she doesn’t need to wait for a man or a perfect moment to take action on what she wants.
“I want to be a mother someday. But I don’t want that dream to be held hostage by a toxic relationship or society’s timeline.”
“I Did This For Me”
Natalie documented her fertility journey privately for months before deciding to speak publicly. The choice to freeze her eggs, she says, wasn’t easy — physically or emotionally.
“It’s invasive. It’s overwhelming. It’s expensive. And honestly, it’s lonely at times,” she revealed. “But every injection, every appointment reminded me I was doing something brave.”
She pushed through the fear and discomfort because she wanted to create space — space for the right love, the right moment, the right life.
A Different Kind of Happy Ending
Natalie is done chasing the picture-perfect fairytale.
“Maybe I’ll meet someone next year. Maybe in five years. Or maybe never,” she said. “But the point is, I’m not waiting around anymore. I’m living.”
She says her decision has already changed the way she sees herself — not as someone waiting to be chosen, but someone who chooses herself, over and over again.
“This isn’t about fear. This is about freedom. I froze my eggs because I believe in my future — no matter what shape it takes.”
With a renewed sense of confidence and a future fully in her hands, Natalie Lee is rewriting the narrative — and showing women everywhere that they don’t have to wait for permission to take charge of their lives.
