Thomas Ravenel put Kathryn Dennis on blast in a series of posts shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, over the weekend.
As the Southern Charm cast continues to be supportive of Kathryn, 32, with Shep Rose, 43, saying she’s a “good person” and Craig Conover, 34, revealing they love her at BravoCon, Thomas, 61, has noted that despite recent photos of Kathryn with the kids being shared on her Instagram page, she has not seen daughter Kensington, 9, and son Saint Julien, 8, in six months.
“It’s been well over [six] months since [Kathryn Dennis] has paid a court ordered supervisor to see her own kids. Kathryn: doing drugs > kids!!” Thomas alleged on November 26, giving a nod to the addiction struggles Kathryn has reportedly faced in recent years.
“But [Shep Rose] and [Craig Conover] think she’s the greatest!” he added.
In another series of tweets, Thomas was met with backlash from fans who felt he should be more compassionate about what Kathryn is going through after losing custody of their children earlier this year.
“Probably shouldn’t have posted this. She’s obviously struggling [and] this makes you look small,” one person alleged.
But Thomas fired back, “You’re a loser. Just another enabler. The kind that propels the Kathryns of the world who cause so much damage. You’re just as bad.”
Then, another said, “Wow — didn’t you use cocaine and also go to prison for it? If she is in an addiction/mental health crisis — I don’t think it’s fair to blast her. Keep the kids happy and safe and pray she can get help.”
“That was way before I had kids and only because I was a threat politically to Lindsay Graham,” he explained. “The whole thing was political. Why else would I have gotten a worse sentence than the dealer and the doctor said I’d never done cocaine???? Huh????”
A third critic asked Thomas, “Why can’t you help both? At the end of the day no matter what that is their mother. That will never change. Why would you rejoice [in] her downfall? Imagine what your kids will learn when they see daddy helping rather than hurting mom. They could very easily turn on you one day also.”
Still, Thomas was stern in his stance.
“When you can sympathize but not empathize it’s better to remain a philosopher. Well done…” he answered.
As Southern Charm fans may recall, Thomas took aim at Kathryn in a series of posts on X earlier this month as well as he reacted to her alleged hit-and-run.
“What has [Kathryn Dennis] done this time?” a fan asked after noticing that Thomas had called Kathryn out for her lack of involvement with their kids.
“She was involved in a hit and run at an elementary school crossing l. Anymore questions???” he replied.
