Bachelor Nation's latest love story is stirring up emotions — and not all of them are good. Grant Ellis, 31, who recently got engaged to Juliana Pasquarosa, 28, isn’t letting the haters get to him. Taking to TikTok on Monday, March 31, the reality star shared a candid video of himself in a car, captioned:
“When Bach nation is everyone tryna get clout by taking shots and you just a Guy who’s happy he found love and happy his dad is sober.”
Ellis wrapped up the message with a purple heart emoji, and added in the caption, “Stay classy bachelor nation.” Juliana, showing unwavering support, commented, “We stay in our own lane bby 🫶🏻 beyond proud of you AND your father 💜.”
Juliana Sets the Record Straight
Juliana took to TikTok a day earlier to address her motivations for joining The Bachelor season 29, insisting she didn’t do it for fame or a lifestyle change.
“Before filming The Bachelor, I created a life for myself that I absolutely love. I didn’t go into this experience trying to create a new life after it. I came into this experience trying to find a man to bring into the life that I currently love,” she said in the video posted Sunday, March 30.
The Boston native made it clear she wasn’t looking to move to L.A. anytime soon, adding:
“Back in Newton, [Massachusetts], staying in Boston, not moving to L.A. I would love to take advantage of opportunities that present themselves to me as long as it aligns with who I am.”
Love, Drama, and a Proposal
The season’s dramatic conclusion saw Grant popping the question to Juliana after bidding farewell to runner-up Litia Garr. Litia, taken aback by Grant’s decision, claimed she would have “a lot of questions” if she were Juliana, based on what Grant allegedly promised her.
During the live reunion, Grant apologized to Litia, acknowledging that their stories didn’t entirely line up but choosing not to argue on stage.
“There’s room for interpretation when things are said ‘off camera.’ I just have to accept whatever the conditions are and apologize and let her feel how she feels because she’s in a tough situation and she’s hurt. I understand,” Grant told Us Weekly.
Life After the Show
As they plan their future together, Grant and Juliana have revealed their decision to move to Boston and take their time with wedding plans. Juliana noted,
“We have to do some normal things where it feels exciting to plan that. I don’t wanna just try and keep it going — I really want to plateau a bit and just live normally for a minute.”
While the drama surrounding their love story may linger, Grant and Juliana are focusing on living their best life — and letting the haters talk.
