Fans of Vanderpump Rules will recall that the Toms opened Schwartz & Sandy’s in November of 2022. Sadly, they announced that the restaurant was closing in November of 2024 after a few previously scheduled events. Now, they’re both focusing on other things.

Tom was recently interviewed by E News, where they asked about his time owning a restaurant as well as his plans regarding the food industry.

He said, “No regrets because I’ve learned so much and I’m for sure a better person because of that place. 100% I’m a better person. More confident. I got more grit. A lot more grit.”

He went on to share that there is one regret. He explained, “Maybe I regret putting my name on the sign. I would never do that again. Never again would I put my name on the side of a bar. Listen, if you’re like Gordon Ramsay or Lisa Vanderpump, I get it.”

Tom also spoke to the outlet about where he stands with the VPR cast. According to him, “I think everyone’s taking a little time to recalibrate. Enjoy their peace and time apart. I think there’s still a lot of love and respect amongst the castmates but regardless of what happens in the future, I think we needed a break.”

Regarding who he sees, Tom revealed, “I see Scheana and Brock a lot. I text Lala a lot. I see Jax a lot. He’s my neighbor now.”

Fans can watch Tom on old episodes of Vanderpump Rules on Peacock.
