Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz always want to do business with each other. However, they wanted to do something on their own without the help of Lisa Vanderpump. They opened Schwartz & Sandy’s. However, they both admitted to spending all of their personal money on the place. Sandoval admitted to using his mom’s retirement fund to do so. It closed in December 2024 after only being open for two years. This put a lot of tension on their friendship, considering they both went into financial ruin for this. Fans know Sandoval and Schwartz are close and always have been. However, it seems that it could have taken a turn after the failed business.

“They are still friends as they’ll always have a connection in that brotherly sort of way and Schwartz will always think of him as a brother. But Schwartz and Sandy’s closing ruined their friendship for awhile and it will never be the same. It put a severe fracture in their relationship that they have partially recovered from but I don’t think they fully ever will. The financial ruin and stress put a toll on them and led to really nasty fights and huge disagreements they couldn’t compromise on. At the end of the day there’s still love but the trust they had before has been broken between them. Schwartz is still financially recovering from the bar closing, I mean they both are still recovering from that, and with VPR ending, they’re not in the best place money wise. But Schwartz has got some things in the works so he’ll be okay. He won’t be a stranger to TV screens.”
