Vail Bloom Shares an "Epic" Update on Her Life After Vanderpump Rules: "Its a Funny Thing..."

Bail Bloom has come a long way since her time on Vanderpump Rules. The Princeton graduate joined the SUR staff in Season 3, where she had a flirtatious situation with Jax Taylor and went on one awkward date with SUR manager Peter Madrigal.

Vail Bloom Shares a New Look at Life After Vanderpump Rules

It's been 10 years since the VPR Season 3 finale aired, and Vail's life looks a lot different now. She is an actress (which she dabbled in before joining the VPR cast), and the mom to two adorable children — daughter, Charlie, and son, Jack. She's also very active on her Instagram account, which she is constantly updating with the cutest photos of her kids.

Vail's Instagram bio perfectly states what she's up to now: "I am an actress who likes to be in the background...of the heroes of my life." And her latest Instagram photos with her children are proof of that.

Vail took to Instagram on April 27, where she posted a photo of her and her children dressed up in their "[Sunday] best" while standing outside. "Fam time," she wrote in the caption of the post.

Her kids are also super active. In February, Vail took to her Instagram account where she posted a photo of Charlie at a gymnastics meet. "My Little Athlete — she's [perfection]," she wrote in the caption of the post. "I'm so proud of you!"

But the kids also appreciate the arts, too, just like their mom. In a February Instagram post, Vail revealed that she took both kids to see the LA Philharmonic play at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. "Jack's 1st, Charlie's 2nd [Symphony] Sundays," she wrote in the caption of the post.

Is Vail Bloom still friends with the Vanderpump Rules cast?

Vail still follows most of the VPR cast from her time on the show on Instagram. This includes: Scheana Shay, Kristen Doute, Tom Sandoval, Tom Schwartz, Ariana Madix, and VPR boss Lisa Vanderpump.

In a February 2024 interview with The Daily Dish, Scheana admitted that she hasn't kept tabs on Vail in recent years, but would be open to reaching out to her. "I haven't seen her or talked to her in so long," she said. "I wish her the best. I should probably reach out. I should probably see how she's doing."

When did Vail Bloom appear on Vanderpump Rules?

Vail only appeared on VPR Season 3, after being hired as a SUR hostess during Season 3, Episode 7. She got quite friendly with some of the VPR cast, including Scheana, and even attended her bachelorette party in Miami during the season.

But, Lisa had predicted that Vail wouldn't last long at SUR after she had a very successful interview and got hired by Lisa Vanderpump. "She's too good, she's never going to last," Lisa said during VPR Season 3, Episode 7. "She's too cute, she's too pretty, she's too smart. Perfect."

Vail Bloom reflects on her time on Vanderpump Rules

During a July 2023 episode of Soap Opera Digest's Dishing with Digest podcast, Vail admitted that very few people recognize her from VPR. "It's a funny thing," she said. "I was just at a fifth birthday party with my daughter, and maybe two-and-a-half hours into hanging out with the moms, drinking rosé in the kitchen while there's kids outside, [one mom] was like, 'And I just have to ask you. Huge Vanderpump fan...'"

"Not that many people ask about it, but I realize when they do, they've been thinking about it the entire time," she added. "It's epic."

What does Vail Bloom do for a living?

Vail is still an actress, with many TV and movie acting credits to her name, according to IMDb. She is most known for her role on The Young and the Restless, appearing in over 250 episodes in the daytime soap opera.

After wrapping up with her role on The Young and the Restless in October 2024, Bloom spoke with TV Insider where she opened up about what's next for her in her career. "My plans now are to enjoy driving my children," she admitted. "I'm pretty much a child Uber driver now. I'll take a little break — the kids just started school again — and then I'll get back to working...I'm excited to see where I end up."
