'Vanderpump Rules' Star Ariana Madix Looks Unrecognizable With a Shocking Hair Transformation

Ariana Madix is switching things up. The famously blonde Vanderpump Rules star revealed her new brunette look on last night's episode of Love Island USA.

Madix paired her chocolatey waves with a dominatrix-themed ensemble, which consisted of a red latex dress, a ball gag choker and a floor-length cape. In her latest Instagram post, Madix signified that her dramatic transformation is only temporary.

"Moment On The Dark Side," part of the caption reads.

Per Madix's hairdresser Carl Bembridge, she wears his own line of wigs, specifically the style called "Italiya."

Fellow reality star Paige DeSorbo—who recently announced her departure from Summer House—commented: "I mean now you have to dye it."

"🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨," wrote Madix's former Pump Rules co-star Katie Maloney.

Speaking to People in March, Madix shared that she would not have returned to the hit show had Bravo not decided to completely re-cast it.

“I don’t think I was ever going to go back to Vanderpump Rules. That’s the first time I’ve ever said that publicly, but I was never going to,” Madix explained.

“It just didn’t feel right. Not in any sort of rude way, not in a professional, ‘We don’t need this,’ not in a, ‘I’m too good for this’, but it just didn’t feel right,” she added. “If I did go back, I wouldn’t have been able to do the job that would make a good show. And so it just wasn’t going to make sense, the story didn’t make sense.”
