The stars, including Steph Curry and former teammate Klay Thompson, were out for Sunday's Las Vegas Aces vs. New York Liberty duel. Thompson, a four-time NBA champion, ended his 13-season tenure with Golden State this offseason and joined the Dallas Mavericks on a three-year deal.

A short clip shared by the WNBA's official X account showed Curry running into Thompson and his new Mavericks teammate Dereck Lively. 'Chef' didn't like that and repeatedly said 'Ew' while joking with Lively.

The wound of losing his 'Splash Brohter' hasn't healed yet for Curry. While winning four league titles, the pair changed how the game is played and how NBA teams build their rosters.

It'll be odd to see Thompson in a Mavs uniform this fall. In July, Curry was still getting used to that idea.

"It's still weird, man," he told Andscape's Marc J. Spears. "I really haven't figured out the emotions yet just because it's one of those pieces that really won't sink in until you get into October and you go to the locker room and you're in your familiar sights and sounds of the Chase Center."

After playing together for 13 years and becoming two of the greatest shooters in basketball history, the duo created many memories. Now, they'll compete for another championship on different squads.

Steph Curry showed love to Sabrina Ionescu after the game

Once the game ended, Steph Curry caught up with New York Liberty superstar Sabrina Ionescu. After the contest, he embraced her and exchanged uplifting words with the WNBA standout. The Warriors icon has a long history with Ionescu.

Ionescu and the Liberty escaped a hard-fought game against the Las Vegas Aces, 75-71. She finished the day with 14 points, four rebounds and four assists. The Liberty notched their 29th win of the season against one of their more dangerous opponents.

Meanwhile, Curry has been linked again with LeBron James. However, those rumors were put to rest after the 2024 Paris Olympics, when the two superstars stated they are ready to take their respective teams to the promised land.
