Erika Jayne and Denise Richards are seemingly putting their feud behind them for the latter’s return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Erika, 54, teased her reunion with Denise, also 54, in the upcoming season 15 of RHOBH during the Monday, August 4, episode of Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp’s “Two T’s in a Pod” podcast.
“I know you can't talk about it, but I saw you filming with Denise,” Teddi, 44, told her guest.
“Who, by the way, told me to tell you hello,” Erika interjected. “We had a nice conversation. That’s what I can say.”
“And I you know, I don't want anybody to go through what Denise is going through,” she added, referring to Denise’s tumultuous divorce from Aaron Phypers.
Erika confirmed on the podcast that she was filming scenes for RHOBH season 15 with Denise and costar Sutton Stracke after TMZ obtained photos of the trio dining together in front of TV cameras at Madre in Los Angeles on August 2.
It’s not yet clear whether Denise will return to the Bravo series in a full-time capacity or appear as a guest, like she did in season 13. Us Weekly reached out to reps for the network and Denise for comment.
Denise’s reunion with Erika comes after the pair’s yearslong feud, which began in RHOBH season 10 in 2020. Denise became uncomfortable during a barbecue at her home when her fellow Housewives began discussing some raunchy topics while Denise’s daughters Lola and Sami were seated at a nearby table. Denise later confronted Erika about the issue, and Erika felt singled out.
Their rift came to a head in season 13 when Denise made a comment about her relationship with Erika at a dinner party.
"I do have a question for [Erika]. … The first time I met you, you were so sweet and lovely, and then a year later, it was a different dynamic," Denise said. "What did I do to you?"
Confused, Erika replied, "Can you tell me what it is though? Because I'm not clear.”
Denise and Erika later reunited in the former’s Bravo spinoff series, Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, to try and hash out their feud.
“I never want any bad vibes,” Erika told Denise during a March episode. “I’m happy to see you.”
“I’ll never forget my first year knowing you,” Denise told her. “We had so much fun.”
In a confessional, Denise added, “Erika and I, we were starting to become friends and then from there it went super sideways for some reason. I just felt like there was still some unresolved crap and I like to resolve things.”
Meanwhile, she told Erika, “It hurt my feelings that there was a shift in the dynamic of our connection. I didn’t know what I did.”
Erika replied, “I felt very judged because we were all talking about sex, but I was the one that got taken to coffee; I was the one that got called out. You can see I’m totally embarrassed at the time, I’m like, ‘Oh, my God.’”
However, Denise insisted, “I was not upset about it. I was not mad.”
After hearing each other’s sides, they agreed to put the drama to rest.
“I would prefer to leave all of that [behind],” Erika told Denise. “That’s all in the past and I would much rather be here now with you.”
