Joey and Kelsey grew up in big families, so it's understandable that they'd want the same experience for their own children someday. Joey has two sisters, while Kelsey is one of five children. Joey and Kelsey's siblings have all appeared in The Bachelor franchise over the years. Kelsey's father, Mark Anderson, was even a contestant on The Golden Bachelorette season 1.

During an episode of Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour podcast, Kelsey revealed that she and Joey weren't on the same page when it came to how many children they wanted. Kelsey told Kathy Swarts and Susan Noles from The Golden Bachelor season 1 that she wants as many as possible, and even wants to adopt. Joey only wants two or three children, which is still a big family.

"I'm A Bernedoodle Not A Golden Retriever"

During a recent golf game, Joey cuddled up with an adorable Golden Retriever puppy and posted the photo to Instagram. "@kelseyanderson we need a dog ASAP," Joey wrote to his fiancée. Kelsey agreedL “I’m in,” she wrote. They even discussed the kind of dog they'd get, with Joey writing, “We have confirmed that I’m a bernedoodle not a golden retriever 🐶”

With their schedules, it's hard to believe that Joey and Kelsey have time for a dog. Since leaving The Bachelor season 28, they've been busy. Joey recently toured with the Dancing With The Stars live show, and Kelsey's been collaborating with huge retailers like Cupshe. The couple also love to travel, but maybe they're ready to spend more time at home.

"We Really Don't Want To Be Stressed"

It's been well over a year since Joey and Kelsey got engaged on The Bachelor 28. Instead of quickly planning a wedding, they leaned into a long engagement instead. After dragging things out, Joey and Kelsey have finally announced their wedding plans. During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, Joey and Kelsey revealed they'd like to tie the knot in 2027.

Joey and Kelsey said they wanted to tie the knot in 2026, but The Bachelor stars need more time: "We really don’t want to be stressed," Kelsey explained.

They've already hired a wedding planner and have been thinking about locations. Kelsey even tried on wedding dresses during a recent social media partnership with David's Bridal. It's unclear if ABC will televise The Bachelor wedding.
