Jenna Johnson & Val Chmerkovskiy Say Rome ‘Loves to Dance’
In a February 2025 interview with People, Johnson and Chmerkovskiy shared Rome’s recent milestones.
“He is just talking so much, which is wild how quickly it just shifts when they start picking up on so many words,” Johnson shared. “His big milestone that I think we’re both really proud of, he can count to 10, which is crazy.”
She added, “It is the absolute best getting to raise him,” noting how they’re “really proud of him.”
Rome also started taking gymnastics classes at the time, with Johnson sharing how Rome “loves to move.”
Their son also, unsurprisingly, is interested in dancing. “He loves to dance, loves to sing. He is a performer,” Chmerkovskiy said.
Johnson added, “What’s fun is he loves watching us dance. If we ever have a video of us dancing, he loves watching it over and over and over again. So we’ll see what he wants to do.”
Johnson shared a video of Rome at his first gymnastics class earlier this year. Chmerkovskiy commented, “The best thing that’s ever happened to me in life is meeting you and bringing this boy into this world. I love you so much.”
