The Cleveland Browns will look to play upset on Sunday when they host the Kansas City Chiefs.
With the Browns officially eliminated from playoff contention, many have begun to turn their attention towards the team's offseason plans, especially with leadership.
However, it seems that regardless of the way they finish the year off, the Browns plan to keep both general manager Andrew Berry and coach Kevin Stefanski, according to owner Jimmy Haslem.
Following Haslem's comment, superstar edge rusher Myles Garrett was asked about his future plans with the franchise if Stefanski and Berry both stay. He was very confident in his response.
“We got those guys right there leading the charge, organizationally. As long as that’s looking how it is, I want to be here…happy to play here in Cleveland," Garrett said.
Since being selected by the Browns in 2017, Garrett has experienced plenty of ups and downs with the team. However, since Stefanski became the team's coach in 2020, they've made the postseason twice, ending an 18-year drought for the franchise.
Garrett has also experienced plenty of personal success in Cleveland. He's a five-time Pro Bowler, three-time first-team All-Pro and he won his first Defensive Player of the Year award in 2023.
Prior to the matchup against Kansas City on Sunday, Chiefs coach Andy Reid had plenty of praise for Garrett.
“He’s really a good player," Reid said. "Probably a future Hall of Famer, I’d say. He’s a dominant player, and we recognize that and respect that. He’s going to show up, though, and we’re going to show up and we have to play well against him."
