Boxing legend Mike Tyson recently returned to the squared circle after a long hiatus of 19 years. The 58-year-old was up against Jake Paul. But it was not his day. The ‘Kid Dynamite’ was defeated via unanimous decision at the AT&T Stadium in Texas on Saturday, November 16. A few hours before the fight, an old video of Tyson started making waves on social media. The treasured footage was from an iconic episode of ‘The Arsenio Hall Show’ where Tyson engaged in a heartwarming interaction with the legendary Muhammad Ali and Sugar Ray Leonard. Many fans turned nostalgic after watching the clip which was shared on X (formerly Twitter).
The video opens with Arsenio Hall asking Muhammad Ali, “What’s wrong?" In response, “The Greatest" pointed at Mike Tyson and humorously said, “I am scared of this guy." The host then questioned Ali– “Who would have won if you fought this man (Tyson) in your prime?"
Shedding light on Tyson’s lethal power and quick reflex, Ali quipped, “I was a dancing master. I was not that powerful but so fast. If he hit me, I’d go down." His response left others in splits and Tyson was also delighted to be praised by the three-time World Champion.
“I’m vain. I know I’m great but in this situation, every head must bow, every tongue must confess—this is the GOAT," Tyson said while referring to Ali. The crowd loved the interaction between the two legends and burst into a huge round of applause.
“Every head must bow, every tongue must confess– that’s actually a very humble way to give praise," a viewer admitted in the comment section of the X post.

Another user said “Pretty much the best responses from each of them (Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson)."
“Oh’man, this clip makes me teary eyes, because it brings such joy to watch," wrote a nostalgic fan.
A person noted, “That was a very special time. Especially the years just before Mike."
Muhammad Ali won his first world heavyweight title in 1964 by crushing Sonny Liston. He registered 56 wins and 37 knockouts before taking retirement from boxing in 1981. Mike Tyson, on the other hand, remained the undisputed champion from 1987 to 1990. He is the youngest world title holder in history.
