Season 18 of Real Housewives of Orange County has been a good one for Heather Dubrow, depending on who you talk to. Of course, Heather didn’t see eye-to-eye with newbie Katie Ginella over claims that Heather calls the paparazzi for herself. And, of course, there were some bumps in the road with Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson. But compared to last season? Fancy Pants is sipping the champs and staying out of the heavy drama.
Heather Dubrow “enjoys” the reunions
Overall, Heather felt like Season 18 was “more balanced” for her. Heather has no interest in having any type of relationship with Katie. Or in rehashing their past issues. “I would have a lot more respect for Katie if she went up to me and went, ‘Hey, I screwed up.’ But all I hear from Katie is whose fault it is,” Heather said of the newbie. “That was the wrong approach.”
And as usual, more cheating rumors about her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow surfaced. Once again, she expertly swatted them away.

Recently, Heather was a guest on the Out & About podcast. During the chat, she shared that this was her third season back with the franchise. Right now, the Orange County ladies have a few more obligations. “We still have like interviews and stuff and we have the reunion coming up,” Heather said.
One of the hosts, Joey Camasta said, “Oh. Those are always a nightmare.” But Fancy Pants begged to differ. “I enjoy the reunion,” Heather replied.
“You enjoy it because you don’t get yourself into drama,” the host responded. So, Heather unpacked her thoughts on prepping for a reunion. “But even when I do, I just feel like, people get so freaked out,” Heather explained. “‘Oh, like they’ve got to prepare and study and bring …’ You know what? When you actually don’t lie, and you know who you are as a human and you can speak effectively, you really don’t need to prepare.” Boom!
Then Joey came up with a hilarious idea. “You know what you should do?” he commented. “I always said that you more seasoned gals should hold a boot camp class for all these new green housewives that are coming through, right?” Heather replied, “I mean … .”
Joey continued, “And tell them how to behave, how to stir up drama the correct way, without going to prison or getting your marriage destroyed, destroying your life, destroying your kids’ lives. Because you guys were the crash test dummies, literally … for this whole thing,” he added.
“It’s so true,” Heather responded. I would LOVE to see Fancy Pants in a villa in France or Italy, along with a group of new housewives, so she can teach them how to be a proper shady lady.
Real Housewives of Orange County continues on Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
