Why Kristen Doute Commends Stassi Schroeder for Working With LVP Again | Us Weekly

In June 2020, both Kristen Doute and Stassi Schroeder were fired from Vanderpump Rules for racist behavior. Of course, Lisa Vanderpump previously fired Kristen from SUR, so there was no love lost between them. Now Kristen is weighing in on Stassi working with Lisa once again on the Hulu series, Vanderpump Villa. Oh, and she’d also like an apology from Lisa.

Kristen Doute isn’t sure she could work with Lisa Vanderpump one-on-one

Lisa brought Stassi to Castello Rosato in Italy for Season 2 of Vanderpump Villa. And Stassi didn’t disappoint with her commentary while filming. Meanwhile, Stassi also inked a deal with Hulu for her own half-hour docudrama, Stassi Says.

However, the bad blood between Kristen and Lisa boiled over when Lisa made some incredibly insensitive remarks about Kristen’s pregnancy. When Lisa learned about Kristen’s pregnancy, she said, “How on Earth did that happen? Who’s the father? Do we know?” That is so cringe and not cool. Of course, Kristen would like an apology from Lisa, but she may be waiting forever.

Kristen was recently a guest on the Housewives Nightcap podcast, and she shared her thoughts about Lisa and Stassi combining their talents for the good of reality TV. “No [I am not surprised] because Stassi is going to get her own show – good for her,” Kristen said. “If you have to swallow that pill to do what’s best for you, your family, and for your career, then get it. I commend her because I don’t know if I could have done it. I really don’t,” the expectant mom added.

The Valley star continued, “I think my ego and my pride would have taken the best of me if someone offered me something like that. So I’m like, ‘Good for you, girl. Look at the bigger picture.’”

That is a mature way to look at the situation.

Vanderpump Rules is streaming on Peacock, while The Valley airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. Both can be watched on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
