Paige DeSorbo and Lindsay Hubbard’s friendship has come a long way.

And in “Summer House” Episode 9, the two took another step forward as Hubbard picked up DeSorbo to drive to the Hamptons together.

“My friendship with Lindsay has changed so much over the years,” DeSorbo said in the episode that aired on April 9. “And you know what I love about Lindsay? She could be wrong, dead wrong, 100% wrong, everybody in the room could say, ‘Lindsay you’re wrong,” and she’ll be like, ‘No I’m not.'”

“I used to get so frustrated with her,” DeSorbo continued. “Now that I’m getting deeper into my 30s, I’m like, ‘I don’t owe you (expletive), even if I know I’m wrong. I’m not apologizing to you.’”

“And I got that from Lindsay. I was raised by Lindsay Hubbard,” DeSorbo jokingly concluded.

Along with DeSorbo’s sentiments in “Summer House” Episode 9, Hubbard also spoke about their friendship.

“I think my friendship with Paige like it’s been a slow build, a slow burn,” Hubbard said in the episode. “It’s been a long time coming. But she couldn’t deny me for that much longer.”

“It’s only a matter of time until we’re best friends.”

Lindsay Hubbard Says She Was ‘Terrified” To Film Final ‘Summer House’ Season 8 Scene

DeSorbo and Hubbard’s evolving friendship took a huge jump in the Season 8 finale which saw Carl Radke call off his engagement to Hubbard. DeSorbo and the other women rushed to be by her side.

As DeSorbo embraced Hubbard, she said kind words, explaining that this was for the best and he “did you a favor.” DeSorbo even joked that “this is what you get for not inviting me to your wedding,” which earned a laugh from Hubbard.

In an Instagram post on March 31, 2024, Hubbard took a moment to thank the women and addressed what it was like to film that final scene in Daniele Olivera’s apartment.

“I truly appreciated having these girls and their support last summer,” Hubbard wrote. “That last convo with the girls at Danielle’s apt was filmed exactly 48 hours after the breakup and I was an emotional wreck. The initial shock and denial had worn off, I couldn’t stop crying, I hadn’t slept more than 4 hours in 2 days, I couldn’t keep any food down, and was so confused about literally everything in front of me.”

“I was honestly terrified and filled with anxiety as I walked in the door that day, thinking another bomb was going to be dropped on me, like that someone knew about something else/bigger to the story and was going to share it with me,” she added. “I’m very thankful that wasn’t the case.”
