Wild Youngster On Fire In IIHF Men's World Championships
Ever since Zeev Buium recorded his first point in the tournament for USA in their win over Kazakhstan on the 18th, Buium has had a three-game point streak.
Buium, 19, recorded two assists in USA's next game against Czechia and followed that up with his first goal of the tournament in a big win over Finland on Thursday.
The Wild youngster's first goal was a big one. It tied the game at 2-2 with under six minutes left in the second period. USA went on to win 5-2 and advanced to the Semifinals.
Buium has one goal and three assists in his last three games. He did not record a point until the fourth game of the tournament. He has four points in six games played.
