Zoe McGrady Cannot Win ‘The Bachelor’

Like every other reality dating show this year, this season of The Bachelor has gone by in the blink of an eye. Season 29 of The Bachelor begins to wrap up, Grant Ellis gets closer and closer to finding his one true love. Of the remaining women, Zoe McGrady is the least likely option because of unlucky circumstances. Zoe McGrady has not had the opportunity to spend time with Grant, which unfortunately indicates that Zoe cannot win The Bachelor.

This season of The Bachelor has been great, but Grant's choices have sometimes been surprising. Zoe started the season one of many girls but stood out. Everything that Zoe has done on The Bachelor has proven how strong and open Zoe is. Despite her drive and passion, a few things stand in the way of Zoe's chances of winning. Zoe did not get to spend personal time with Grant. However, Grant still gave Zoe a rose over Dina Lupancu. There is not much time left before Grant must make his final decision, but despite trying her hardest, Zoe cannot win.

Zoe Started the Season Off as a Villain on 'The Bachelor'

Every season needs a villain. For a time, it appeared that Zoe would be just that. However, as the season continued, Carolina Quixano took the villain role. Zoe had started The Bachelor with a villain edit because she did not get along well with the other women on the show. She tended to be separate from them and had trouble getting to know any of them. Carolina took the villain role for similar reasons. Ultimately, Carolina was eliminated because of what the other women thought of her. Carolina became the subject of many of the women's ire, including Juliana Pasquarosa, who is still participating. Juliana and some other women went to Grant to tell him their concerns, prompting him to drop Carolina. It is clear that Grant takes the opinions of Juliana and Liltia Garr seriously. Zoe's early separation from the group could put her time on the show in danger, although she seemed to step out of the villain role very quickly and made up with the other women.

Someone in Zoe's Situation Has Never Won Before

Zoe McGrady is in an interesting position. Zoe would be the first winner not to have a one-on-one before the Hometown episode. It's not unbelievable that Grant would have some connection with her despite not meeting with her until Hometown, but he chose other contestants for one-on-ones instead. Zoe would not have had enough time to meet with him or get to know him without the outside influences of the others. Because of the quality time he has had with them, Grant is closer with Juliana and Litia.

However, this is not because of Zoe's lack of effort by any means. Zoe has made sure to communicate with Grant about her feelings and disappointment at the lack of time with him throughout the season. Carolina and Zoe had similar starts to the season, but while Carolina expressed her emotions boldly which put Grant and the other contestants off, Zoe is calm and collected with her honesty. Grant even pointed out that one conversation could change everything for them. Zoe has also been making the most of her time with Grant, like on group dates. Zoe will not give up just because there is a slim chance that she will win. Though, Grant also seemed close to both Carolina and Dina, but kept Zoe over them. However, Grant has expressed that he is falling for the other women, so it is unlikely Zoe will be able to get the upper hand at this point.

Zoe Has Been Great to Watch

Unfortunately, Zoe was dealt such a lousy hand on The Bachelor. Having no one-on-ones makes it incredibly hard for her to prove herself. The lack of time with Grant and her problems with the other girls has made Zoe's time on The Bachelor unlucky. Despite all that, though, Zoe has fought for her spot. Zoe has stayed on The Bachelor even when all the odds were against her. Zoe McGrady's passion, honesty, and perseverance have made her a compelling contestant on The Bachelor. Even though there is little chance Zoe can win, I hope that this is not the last that Bachelor Nation sees of her. Zoe has made the most of her time on the cast and never given up. Although The Bachelorette is on hold because of production issues, Zoe McGrady would have been a great Bachelorette.

Unfortunately, because of how close Grant is with both Juliana and Litia, Zoe cannot win The Bachelor. Still, Zoe has made tremendous progress with Grant despite having had to fight for her spot. Zoe McGrady has impacted this season of The Bachelor, but there is little to no chance she will win. That leaves only two. Will Juliana or Litia win, or will Grant surprise everyone and choose Zoe on The Bachelor? The Bachelor is available to stream on Hulu.
